Hi! I'm Brigette and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. By some miracle, I recently got accepted into the Disney Cultural Exchange program in Orlando, Florido. As this is quite a way away, the flights and medical insurance are costing be more than I can afford and they're only getting more expensive....

Hi all! I’m not a very active tumblr user but I’m hoping for the best here. I’m Brigette, I’m from Australia and recently got accepted into the Disney Cultural Exchange Program at Disneyworld, Orlando. This includes paying for a 24-26hr flight as well as travel insurance and medical insurance. I really hate asking people for things, particularly money, but I truly thought I could do this by myself which has proven very difficult. 

I’ve already payed for my program fees but I arrive in one peak season (Jan 11) and leave in another (June) so the flights are about $1,000 more than if I was to leave/arrive at any other time of the year.  I’ve set $1,200 as my goal as it would pay for almost everything but any contribution, no matter how little, would be a huge help! :) LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Brigette T

Hey guys! So as you may or may not know, I was accepted into the Disney College Program last month for Orlando, Florida! For those wondering, the DCP is basically a paid internship where you get to work at the parks and live on-site in apartments provided by Disney. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work for such a well-known company and build my resume…… but it’s also not cheap. I really HATE to ask for help and I would’t even be posting this if I thought I could do this all by myself. But although housing will be taken care of when I get there, I still need to figure out how i’m going to pay for the flight to Orlando from Los Angeles, plus a hotel, plus transportation to wherever i’m going to arrive. 

I already managed to pay the $300 fee for the program, but i’m really starting to stress over everything else. I’m really hesitant about even posting this, so I’m really only setting my goal for $200 dollars to pay for everything. I don’t want anyone to feel pressured or feel bad. I will try to manage if I can’t reach my goal for this fund, but it would really mean a lot if you guys would reblog this or maybe even donate a dollar or two! I’m really just looking forward to this experience and I am determined to make ends meet one way or another!
