[ psa ] indefinite hiatus.

so this is a little saddening to post... but... that’s really only because l.joe’s such an inspiration to me. i enjoyed playing him so much, and he really is an angel too. however, because of the stuff happening lately and everything he’s going through, i think that it’s best to respect his situation and feelings without playing them. i just wish for him to be okay, to be safe, and healthy. i am truly grateful for being able to have this opportunity though, and to have gotten to play him as a muse. he’s one of the longest muses i’ve ever had (on and off), and without a doubt, my favorite. maybe, in the future, if he does continue with solo activities, and everything is working out for him, i may revisit this account. but for now, i will be stepping down from roleplaying as him. 

please keep him in your prayers.

It’s that time of the month; another activity check. We know— lame, right? This will run pretty smoothly, and we hope that you will all participate in order to remain a member of IDOL ENTERPRISE.

First and foremost, re-blog and reply to this post with the words “MONTH OF LOVE”, and please INCLUDE A LINK TO YOUR MONTHLY PROMPT by the date of FEBRUARY 6TH.

You MUST have an active thread with another member IDOL ENTERPRISE, as well as have consistent activity on your blog. Remember, POSTING PHOTOS AND MEMES DOES NOT COUNT AS ACTIVITY.

YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITY CHECK IF YOU WERE ACCEPTED INTO THE DIRECTORY OR GRANTED A HIATUS FROM THE DATES OF ( 01.25 - 02.01 )  However, those on a semi-hiatus are expected to participate in the activity check. With that being said, please do not message the directory to ask for a hiatus to get out of the activity check.                              JANUARY 2017: L.JOE EDITION

It’s time to take a look into the process of preparing for an idol’s comeback. Oftentimes, the training is rigorous and the expectations are high, and the quality of these comebacks often boils down to the resources and connections that the companies of these idols have. For some idols, it takes everything that their agency has to make it happen. They may struggle with inconsistent releases, or put out songs that just don’t reach the public’s ears. For others, comebacks are made easy by the wealth of their companies and the fan-base that comes with them, no matter the quality of the music they create.

Considering where your idol is in their career and where their agency stands in the industry, give us a glimpse into their life as they go forth into their preparations. You may include their thoughts and feelings towards the high standards they face, or go into detail about their day-to-day activities in the days before their release. Explore your muse as they train to once again take to the stage.

flashback to ‘clap’, he remembers when the debut date announcement was made-- when this concept he entitled as a dream finally solidified. for days, he was bordering shock, and disbelief. a little bit of both. every scheduled practice was surreal-- just something he’s accustomed himself to doing because it’s vital to the finish line. but after the debut-- after that, it wouldn’t be just anticipation alone. it’d be a mixture of everything else too-- and especially a desire to work harder than the last performance. after the first is exposed, then the expectations come filtering in. ‘everything gets easier after you make a name for yourself’ becomes a lie. everything gets harder. he is constantly in a battle with who he used to be-- consistently trying to be better than himself, and that’s the worst kind of war.

fast forward to 2017. teen top’s comeback is in a month. it’s been over a year since their last one. but it’s okay because it’s just another opportunity for improvement. a part of him is anxious, antsy on the fact that they’ll finally be in the spotlight after a year of struggling for one. so he trains like it’s the last performance they’ll have-- because he’ll never really know. their contract is soon to expire, but the end is determined more by what’s to come-- by the time of their next comeback. perhaps it’s already been decided though. perhaps even this is a lot to hope for-- but he’s been banking on it.

the little hope that seems remotely impossible, that’s what carries him to tomorrow.

“Me? I don’t run away--” Okay, actually, maybe he is guilty of that. Even just a bit. It’s actually nothing short of trivial. He just finds it more comforting to text than converse face-to-face. There’s no particular reason why, it’s just simpler. Founded solely on text and not facial expression-- impulsive wording-- hand gestures. But he doesn’t always turn tail. Maybe just, like, twice. Three times tops.

But he doesn’t need to explain that all right now, so he plays it dumb, only staring at her with a blank expression. “Are you sure you’re not mistaken? People often mistake me for a model, you know. Maybe you thought I was one of them?”

“So what I’m hearing is– you’re not gonna’ help a guy in need!” He immediately huffed out a sigh in response, getting antsy and rubbing his upper-arms while watching his phone slip away. Seungri wasn’t exactly shy when it came to anyone, but for some particular reason he couldn’t joke his way into talking to the girl he’d just seen. He squinted, only for a bit, and his hand reached up to nudge the younger’s shoulder, “What! You would really tell the tabloids just like that? I thought better of you, now I’m re-evaluating this whole friendship. All of it! I feel betrayed! Just hand over the number!!”

All of this because of a girl. Now, L.Joe hadn’t expected this from the other, but it’d be an understatement to state he wasn’t the slightest amused about it. Okay, so he had the advantage here-- which meant he shouldn’t just sacrifice an opportunity like this from generosity. He had to be smart about this. Quietly humming as his gaze shifted elsewhere, he’s formulating a way to make this especially interesting. “Okay, okay, since I’m a nice person, I’ll help you, sunbae.” His eyes finally recast onto the older, but something’s different about his expression now. Seemingly mischievous. “But I’m feeling really tired right now. It’d be nice if someone could carry me?”
