also u know what on the topic of emery women not having consequential character arcs isn’t it so weird how harper was chief of medicine but stepped down to her old position as head of neurosurgery because it was her passion (because they wanted naveen to be around for ethan’s plotline) and now that passion has been abandoned because she suddenly has a passion for diagnostics (because they wanted romanctic tension in the ethan route). idk i just think that’s so silly and random haha :)
