I cannot express how much I loathe Vampire Knight.
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT PAATAL LOK???
IT’S BRILLIANT
No one does crime thriller movies/series like India. THE BEST OUT THERE, I LOVE EVERYTHING
(What if I told you I wrote a whole ass article about this??)
I feel like when it comes to certain movie genres, some countries just have it nailed down perfectly. To date, I've never watched an Indian crime thriller that I didn't like and that's saying something because I am extremely picky when it comes to crime/thriller dramas. India just does it best imo. A close second is Russian crime/detective series, but they usually lack the gritty thriller factor.
Currently I'm watching "Paatal Lok" and wow. Even better than I expected. I binge-watched the first season and now I'm onto the second one. I find it really interesting how one of the characters looks a lot like the actor who played Viktor Barinov in Kitchen. Myabe there is something about that theory where each person has 6 people who look the same as them.
However. Not really a fan of the way they got rid of one of my favorite characters but we'll see. Maybe he miraculously survived.
100% agree
So, Trump expels Brazilians who work and study in the US. And now he's telling us what our laws should be, how we should treat the coup plotters who try to overthrow our democracy. He's the one being convicted by the American justice system. He truly believes that our country's laws should follow American laws. Now he's taxing Brazil 50% on all products, when we're the ones who buy more than we sell. So, congratulations, Americans, your eggs will be 50% more expensive. So will your steak, your bacon, your orange juice, your gasoline, your car parts, and so many other items. We have the option to buy elsewhere, but tell me, Mr. American, do you like paying more for your beloved coffee? My country is sovereign! WE set the rules here, not your criminal president. STAY AWAY FROM OUR LAWS, WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT AND IS NOT TO BE LIKE YOU! FUCK YOU ALL
I miss Bryce Lahela
Yes, this is the post
I don't even play Choices anymore is it a thing still? Do people still play it? but I am here once again just to say that
I still love Bryce Lahela
Year after year, I find myself here, with unchanged feelings.
It’s 2025 and I still see people describing BRYCE LAHELA as a white man‼️🤬
White and blonde. Stop whitewashing BIPOC characters, dammit
Mickey 17 really said that someone will love all versions of you, even the version that you can’t seem to accept.
“He just wants to have a nice life and be a regular dude. He doesn't really have any higher aspirations particularly. He was fine with being tortured every day if he could just go home to Nasha.” - Robert Pattinson

I’ve seen several people criticizing Adolescence.
About how we know nothing about the victim and how another crime tv show focuses again on the perpetrator. — when it’s clear that the focus on the show is about the impact of social media and misogyny on teenage boys. It could have been any boy, any girl, anywhere. And the show is carefully built to put the female characters in second plan. To show the sexism in our everyday lives.
About how the show fails to hold social media and technology companies accountable - when the purpose of the show was never to point fingers to anyone but to stir reflection and conversations about where we’re going as a society and how we are (or not) protecting our children
About how it leaves open questions and nothing is too deeply elaborated - with four episodes, what did you expect? Besides, questions about what? If he did it? It’s pretty clear from episode one. What people will do about it? We follow the aftermath. Again, the show’s intention was to start conversations about this fact.
And the wildest one, was how the family could live on happily after what the boy did - it’s pretty obvious (and I honestly cannot understand how this person saw any sign of happiness between them) that they’re all struggling, but trying to move on. Because life keeps on happening.
Everyone is entitled of their own opinion, but it shocks me how people seem to fail media literacy more and more. We must approach every media - everything, really - with a critical eye, yes, but with a discerning eye too.
"Do you want to give us a reason why? Why would you do something like this? Jamie, do you want to explain? Do you want to say sorry to Katie's mum, who I had to talk to just past midnight last night while she was sobbing on the floor because her daughter is gone? Do you want to say sorry to her?"
Adolescence (2025) dir. Philip Barantini Episode 1
Heartbreaking. Brutal. Brilliant.
Adolescence is a must watch.
Anyway, Irving is my favorite and that’s all
for the first time in two years you're allowed to wear your own clothes. you get led to your own death and black out. you suddenly wake up to see your husband you haven't seen in two years. he's absolutely SOAKED in blood. you two embrace and kiss and then run down hallways and shove a dead guy out of an elevator. you black out again wake up to him ignoring your screams for him and going back to hell and walking away holding hands with another woman. happened to my good friend gemma scout
also i'm such a gemma girlie. i don't mean in relation to mark or vs helly i don't care about any of that i'm a gemma girl forever. it's me and her. what if you thought you were eurydice until the last second until you turned around just in time to realize you were orpheus
Watched Severance (seasons 1 and 2) over the weekend.
And all I will say is: fuck you all, I’ll take Gemma with me.
