I'm dead!
My mom and I were watching movies and we were admiring the actors. Both male and female. Tell me why this woman is so bi!
She's saying, "if I were a guy I'd totally be attracted to her." And "if I weren't married I'd be going after this guy." Or even, "if she were a better person I'd love her."
Story time
Well, one time at the dinner table my dad was criticizing an ad he saw a few hours before that had a lesbian couple in it. My mom dropped statistics on him saying, "one in three people are attracted to the same sex. Statistically, two people here could be gay. Just saying. " Me and my sister choked trying not to laugh.
My dad then proceeded to say, "None of my kids are gay. I'd know if they were." 🤭🤭🤭
Story Time
I used to work in a small cafe/restaurant sorta place, where I met my best friend. Me and said friend, we'll call her A, would talk all day and I honestly have never been happier than when I was with her.
On a slow day we were talking and laughing about something when a customer came in. First thing he says is, "Are you lesbians?" With a grimace. "That's disgusting!"
Before I could say anything A says, "Good for you." With a smile. "Would you like to order?"
She doesn't even ask questions or bitch back. Honestly, that is my favorite thing about her.
My Bi Journey
Wen I was younger I had a crush on the girl that lived across the street. In third grade, I told my best friend, at the time, this and she replied with. "You can't like a girl if you are a girl." In that moment I started to look for attractions in boys it was more difficult for me but I did. Eventually, it became easier to like boys and keep my mine off girls.
In middle school, I started talking to my friend, who is a guy, about an actress I was fascinated with. He asked me if I am a lesbian and I gave my normal, "I'm not supposed to like girls if I'm a girl." response.
To which, he said, "that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." My heart leaped in excitement.
"But I don't want to like only girls." I told him.
"You would be bisexual then." He smiled at me, sorta mischievously. "Which is good because then I have a chance."
Yesterday, I got asked if I'm butch or femme, because they "couldn't tell." Like, first off... Why do I have to be one or the other? And second off... Who told you I'm bi?😬😕
The best relationships, family and friends, are the ones where you never have to come out to them. You can just exist as yourself and they know and they are fine with it.
