i know i update this like ever two weeks with the same thing but i really dont do well during the winter months and i feel pretty bad right now i’ll reply when i can i have backblade, kurosamaofsuwa and cinderglow to get back to. Also deinox idk if i missed a reply to you but i’d love to reply with you still when i’m feeling better.
kurosamaofsuwa:
“What’s what?” He asks as he leaves the small tree with the teacher. “That’s a manjuu on my head.”
“I an not a manjuu. I am Mokona,~” she says and paps his head with her paw. “Cmon dont wanna be late to our seats.” He encourages as he heads to the back, going slower than usual so Fai can easily keep up. He notices the strain in Fai’s face but doesn’t want to call attention to it in front of others.
“your project silly~” Fai hums taking his seat next to Kurogane, Fai pulls out the things he needs for clans trying to stifle a yawn. “Is it anything like your child I wounder.”

It did surprise him, though he’s not sure why. Fai was known for pulling this sort of thing, for being forward, in one’s business. It was part of what Kenshin found rather charming about him. He has to adjust how he’s sitting to accommodate for Fai’s sudden escalation, before he pulls away from it, wiping at his mouth.
“Wow… this one wasn;t expecting you to…”
“I’ll do much more, Ken-chan~” Fai teases with a giggle.To show some mercy he readjust so he’s sitting beside the warrior once more to gaze on the winding down light show. “..I’m ready to move on.” He doesn’t clarify on what. “He’d be disappointed in me for stewing in my own sadness..And Ken-pon makes me happy~! I want to spend every night like this with you.” His bold words has the taller man blushing.

“You two are as energetic as usual, I see” Kurogane comments.
Soel laughs at that and moves to hop on his head. “That’s because education is fun~”
His smile is strained, his brows knot together with a light headache, still he puts on a happy face despite the pain because he genuinely is joyed to be around the others. “It sure is...Ohh... what’s that, Kuro-pop?”

As soon as class is dismissed, Kurogane gathers his things, including the newest tree and heads to his next class, getting there before most the other kids and hands over the tree he made to his Math teacher, who seems pleased with his work - although makes the comment he didn’t have to wait so long to make it.
Fai flies into the class with quick steps wanting to flee and rejoin his friends when he see Soel he sighs garbing the girl much to her squealing protest into a hug. “Fuzzy fuzzy.” He mummers nuzzling her making his way over to Kurogane.

He’s yet agin shocked by how clearly he’s seen through, The blonde lets himself be handled and pushed into a kiss. in return he returns the act the magicians own clever tongue sneaks into Kenshin’s mouth. God he wants to knock the smaller man off his feet the way his heart beat in his chest urges him on.

Kurogane pays attention once class starts as they begin covering a new topic. He spares a thought occasionally wondering how Fai was doing.
Because of his tardiness Fai is forced to stand beside the teacher and help with minimal tasks throughout the period it’s a bit embarrassing. IT has Fai looking forward to his last class of the week.

Kurogane gets to his next class quickly to take advantage of the time to work on his assignment, letting a small tree grow between his hands to present to his next teacher.
As he’s leaving in a hurry before he can get out the classroom Fai knocks into something it’s only after the thing moves doe he see it was the quiet yet pretty girl with the curry hair. Fai is quick to help her up, he assumes that she would push him away but she does not protest, “I’m so sorry are you okay...Xing-san?”
“You should go...your going to be late.” The girl warns and Fai is quick to take the warning if it didn’t see that he has knocked her bat clip off and chipped it. ‘Oh I can endure it.” Fai smiles pick up the hair piece and casting a mending spell on it.
Upon getting it back and watching the boy run out as the bell rings singling he’s late Xing Huo frowns she’s known for sometime that the animus weren’t bad people dispute what he said but now...well now she might just need to stick up for them.

How poetic. Two people with lost love, who found it hard to move on in that wake, despite the fact that their lost loves would want nothing more than for them to be happy.
Even if neither of them felt they deserved it.
Even if Kenshin didn’t deserve this, he wanted it selfishly. He so much wanted to hear his name be spoken throughout the day, and not go months without hearing it. He wanted the soft touches, and kisses and the morning spent watching sunrises.
He yearned for it. and Fai the same. If he was the one who could give the other that while fulfilling his own need… maybe it wasn’t so bad…
With his hand in Fai’s he is slightly pink, a mix of sake of blush left over from the kiss. He runs a thumb over the back of his hand.
“then let’s not go back to it. Let’s stay together. this one would very much like that, that he would.”
It takes a while to respond, Fai’s mind swirls with thoughts of the past then of what could be, he’s glad that Kurogane taught him to look forward to things but it always makes him feel odd to be the one people want.
“Hnnm~ Ken-tan deserves the best but I can be pretty needy.” He lies trying to make himself less appealing. Fai places his free and around the redhead’s back.”You’ve had a hard life that I can tell I don’t want to make it worse..but if you want me I’ll stay forever.”

Kurogane is glad he has another day to finish his homework because he isn’t quite halfway finished when the bell rings. Gathering his things, he prepares to head ro his next class. After that, it would be Math and he’d see Soel and Fai.
He’d just have to make sure to make the small tree before then.
When he stays behind to ask for help on an assignment Fai is lightly grilled for being distracted, the teacher does help with only lightly teasing. When left to his own the blonde head to his next class cheeks red with embarrassment.

He pulls back after a moment. Easing out it gently. Letting himself get a good look at Fai, and his reaction. It wasn’t negative that is for sure , the noise from Fais lips almost seemed needy.
Like he wanted more.
After a long moment he averts his gaze from the other, grabbing his cup of sake to brining that to his lips , perhaps to wash away the taste of a kiss, of a kiss he hadn’t had in forever. He hadnt ealized how touch starved he was.
“this one wasn’t either- he’s been so long over these past ten years. And you are showing him That. This one can’t go back to being alone… But was too afraid to admit to feeling sbecause…” The fate of his late wife. He turns to fai “but maybe it’s time to move on. If you’ll have this one…”
The foreign man’s first instinct is to lie, hide his true thoughts but he reminds himself that this man doesn’t deserve such deceit.Besides he made a promise to his old love who is long dead now, to continue living a happy life and Kenshin does make him honestly truly happy.
Fai lets the swordsman speak and partake of his drink but afterward the blonde entwines his hand with the other giving the man a gentle smile. “If..you’d have me. I’ll have you.” He squeeze the hand a tad tighter. “I..I don’t want to go back to being lonely either.” He admits with a short breath.

“See ya then.” He says with a small wave before heading to his own class.
He spends some of it catching up as he had skipped it yesterday to watch over Fai and he has extra assignments because of it.
He doesn’t complain because it was his choice to stand in Fai’s but he’s not entirely thrilled at more homework to catch up on. So he works on it when he gets chances during class.
Be fore he knows it the bell rings and all the notes he’s taken for the class was little doddles of his friends a lot of Kurogane. With the weekend coming maybe he should finally take his friend up on help on learning to control his form.

The warm feeling of the sweets and sake in his belly compliment the small shill in the night air. This man’s company of late has grown to become a comfort one he’d be hard pressed to give up. That doesn’t mean he’s expecting it when the redhead presses his lips against his. The kiss is much like a warrior himself surprisingly powerful it knocks air from his chest and a needy noise from his lips.
When they part Fai seems shy ducking his head from side to side as he mulls through what to do next the blonde ends up hugging the swordsman in way where his face can’t be seen. “I never knew, Ken-chan.”

“If you met my parents, you’d understand,” he says before quickly eating the rest of his food with some help from Soel so they didn’t waste it. He then walks with Fai to Fai’s class, “learn lots and have fun.”
Fai feels like he’s being swept along by the older boy and the thought of marriage almost flies out his head.”Bye bye see you at math, Kuro-pu.” The blonde waves farewell making his way to his seat but the thought lingers.
Up till recently all he had to draw upon a family was his old one...Mother and Father were so strict no one seemed happy in the household. He thought all families were like that but then the stories he heard from Kurogane has him thinking. Maybe it was just him...after all after the fire when he secretly wrote to his parent worried about how badly he had hurt Yuui they had written back not to him but Ashura saying they want nothing to do with a monster like him...and the new couples that would look to adopt would eye his collar then him in fear. The negative emotions want to build up in his chest but he reminds himself that his friend never feared him, doesn’t hate him or look at him with disgust and a small old spark of hope tingles in his chest, What if he could marry Kurogane? he muses during class not taking a bit of the lecture in.

“How would you know? Maybe I oughtta nibble on you instead…” Kurogane replies.
And Tomoyo ohohos at that, “now Kurogane- you know you can’t nibble on Fai-san unless you’re going to marry him.”
His cheeks tint to a bright red and heart quickens in pace. “Marry?...Wait do married people nibble on each other?” The brunettes look like their about to faint from second handed embarrassment .
Before the blonde can question more the bell rings for the next class to start.
kurosamaofsuwa:
“Who you calling a brute, you talking manjuu bun?” Kurogane replies, and reaches over pinching Larg’s cheek, “maybe I outta eat yer ears”
Soel kyaa~d at that while Larg went and held his long ears, “don’t eat my ears, you big meanie!”
“There you go proving his point!” Fai scoots closer to Kurogane again so they are hip to hip, he then drapes himself on the lager boy’s side in a hug. “You’s never do something so horrid.”The blonde smiles up at his friend.

“Is that so? Maybe I should do it more then,” he teases even as he relinquishes his ruffles for now.
“Eek!!” Fai giggles and grabs Larg to hide behind not that it does much good with the small friend and the face Kurogane has stooped. The other at the table smile some more knowingly than others, the only one not grinning is the black furred boy who fusses at the blonde until he laughs an apologies. “I maybe brave, cool and handsome but I’m no match for a brute like Kurogane!” he huffs hopping on to Fai’s shoulder.
