we got so lucky with bbcan5 for the most part, honestly. i mean, let’s take a look:

no male alliance dominating the game and making “girls are weak comments.”

there was no one side dominating the house for the majority of the season.

a satisfying double eviction and good enough triple eviction.

a well-deserved final four.

a woman over 50 not being evicted first and making it to the end.

no unnecessary buybacks.

first evictee was a male who probably would have been decent at comps, so getting him out was a smart choice.

a showmance that was loving, caring, and had mutual respect for one another.

IKA WONG.

even that kevin martin is probably going to be a better winner than whoever ends up first place in bb19. i know there were negatives, like a few racial microaggressions, but it wasn’t bad as what we’ve seen on bbus. we also lost icons like cassandra and gary in the beginning, but their evictions were avenged. the worst part of bbcan5 was the bitter jury, but y’know. anyway, RIP bbcan5.

BBCAN got cancelled because Queen Marina Giannitsos turned down BBCAN6

BBCAN has had 5 amazing seasons in a row and gets put on hiatus meanwhile BBUS hasn’t been great since 2008 what is his shit

BBCAN being put on hiatus (read: cancelled) means that Miss Ika Wong goes down in history as the best Big Brother Canada player. It also means that Demika goes down in history as the best Big Brother Canada Showmance. It also means that Demetres goes down in history as winning the most HOH comps. And finally it means that Karen is still an ICON and THAT BITCH.

Furthermore it means that Neda was outplayed by Ika and wasn’t safe for an hour before she was evicted. And it also means we don’t have to deal with another dark-sided winner like the Br*th*rs or J*n and no more robbed fourth place queens.

I’m okay with the decision by Global after Ika served us good TV AND Feeds this past season /shrug
