Today is international womenās day! As women, there are things in this world that still arenāt equal for us. For instance, the pay rate. A man who is just as qualified, just as experienced and just as diligent can get paid more. As a woman, we get the stigma that we are weak and canāt do anything. Doing somethingĀ ālike a girlā means that you do it slower, not as efficiently or even look ridiculous doing it. But we are the only ones that can change that. We are the ones that can change the minds of others. We need to prove that we are stronger, faster, smarter, and better than who they think we are. We are not just women, we are mothers, friends, sisters, daughters. We are humans. We are equals to men and we are fearless. We should not be taken lightly. We run the world. We have the ability to create life and carry it with us for 10 months (yes 10 because gestation is 40 weeks and if you say 4 weeks are in a month thats 10). We squeeze a human head out of 10 cm of space. Let us use each day to create equality for everyone. We should be appreciated, not belittled.Ā
