Legon the lab chick

I would like to introduce to you the spokespet for this account. I adopted this white leghorn when he was a chick five years ago.

Legon is a low maintenance chicken as he eats what I usually give,and he rarely gets ill. From the past five years,he is one of my closest companion. He witnessed my ups and downs. From my student days until I became a vet, Legon is always there. I dedicate making this account for him and all the pets under my care. I will be also featuring an aspect of my life being an animal keeper and at the same time,being a vet working in different species of animals. Welcome to our account!

Daiquiri Tokubetsu

Introducing you one of my bunnies. His name is Daiquiri Tokubetsu. He was born last February 13,2020. I adopted him last May,and to my surprise,he’s smaller than I expected.

I performed general check-up on him and found out that he’s having a mite infestation that I have to treat him right away. After series of treatment,he got back to being a handsome bunny.

Holland lop rabbits are prone to ear infections and malocclusion. Aside from good and healthy diet, regular vet visits is important to ensure the health of your bunnies.

Kei the Cavy

Kei is one of my rescued guinea pigs. It’s very hard to rescue animals from breeders because they will still continue the cycle of irresponsible breeding.

Kei is a runt guinea pig.

Yes, Kei is a runt guinea pig. Runt guinea pigs usually live less than a year. In the case of Kei, she lived less than two months under my care even after giving her a strict veterinary care. (I’m a Licensed Vet)

Sometimes,when one of my rescues die, I’m having a hard time coping up with the pain I’m feeling. But the good thing is that,there are many more animals who are in need of my help. And I think,that is enough reason for me to go on with life.

Taking care of animals is my passion. Being a Vet is my profession. 🧡

My cute bunbun Warby. We brought him to my grandma’s house. Unfortunately,we were not able to bring him out because the weather isn’t good. The wind is howling and the rain is too heavy. I hope everyone’s doing well!
