D & I rescued this allegedly dwarf palm tree 12 years ago from the bin of a B&Q in Tunbridge Wells . Over that period it bloomed only once for a day when we lived on Brighton sea front. The palm tree was on the top of a glasshouse type staircase at the time. But today I found this little chap showing me its flowers. In December!
