mettalphys is so intertwined and inseparable i want to throw up. i wouldve expected him to just be like “i didnt wanna make anything new at this point lol” and move on but he actually decided to say “whose bullets are whose its up to you” THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF THINGS.

it's fun to potentially speculate on whether or not the NEO body would have its own personhood like pink's body. i considered the idea briefly where the NEO body is like, hopes and dreams pilled and the ghost (mettaton) is kind of still coming out of his shell. ultimately i don't know if this is something i "want" to see because i like that the 'split' situation could be unique to pink; maybe mettaton wouldn't have this rupture. maybe mettaton's sense of self has even changed over the years and maybe even thanks to his tenna-related 'awakening'. many directions to take it! it's a fun experiment you could do something cool with. and i hope someone does!
