A Soldier Who Got Tired Of Reading That Caitlyn Jenner Isn't A Hero Wrote An Amazing Response

"What if I told you that her speech last night saved even one human being from attempting to take their life."

I feel like when people start a statement with, “first off, let me say that I fully support......”, that to some degree they slightly do care about a particular situation and do not 100% support [insert whatever here]. I’ve read many Facebook posts, tweets on Twitter, and have listened to general commotion on the radio that Caitlyn Jenner is not a ‘hero’. What makes her not one? She may not be a hero to you, but she may be a hero to someone. Your definition of a 'hero' can be completely different than the next person's. Don’t belittle someone’s achievements just because YOU do not think they are deserving of their awards, etc. Perhaps, she would not be defined as a ‘hero’, many moons ago... but for our time, I believe, she is.

What It's Like Living With Depression

It's not easy, but you're not alone.
