Did some interesting reading about Pancasila ideology - it's the basis for Indonesian law and is basically 5 principles. The first is: Belief in the one and only God, (in Indonesian, Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa) - the law recognizes the religions of Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Confucianism, Buddhism and Hinduism to fit this principle. A major feature of the design of the interior is the prayer carpet which covers the floor of the prayer hall. It contains, 1,700,000,000 knots, weighs 21 tonnes and took four years to produce, and brings together the classical Tabriz, Kashan and Isfahan design traditions. 28 colors in varying shades were used, the majority obtained from traditional vegetable dyes. It is the second largest single piece carpet in the world. #Oman #OmanWknd #Wikipedia (at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque)

Potjiekos In South Africa, potjiekos, literally translated "small pot food", is a stew prepared outdoors. It is traditionally cooked in a round, cast iron, three-legged pot, the potjie, descended from the Dutch oven brought from the Netherlands to South Africa in the 17th century and found in the homes and villages of people throughout southern Africa.
