Some fun facts about Michael Palin & Terry Gilliam

They still live 5 minutes' walk from each other in London.

They travelled together in India in January 1983.

Michael used to smoke (not much) before sleep, and quit smoking after Terry G's warning of "you are an addict".

When Michael started his 80 days around the world, Terry G asked him to bring a tile or plague from China. Michael answered if he got the plague he would kiss Terry first.

According to Wiki, Terry has directed 14 movies. Michael was involved in 7 of them (as a former cast in The Man Who Killed Don Quixote), and as the final cast of 6 movies (Holy Grail, Meaning of Life, Jabberwocky, Time Bandits, Brazil).

Terry thinks Michael is the most funny one in Python group.

Terry drew a cartoon for Michael to celebrate his 80's birthday (see Terry's insta).

There's a BBC podcast episode named "Michael Palin's Memory Palaces: Terry Gilliam". (Highly recommended if you want to know more about Terry G!)
