I participated in this 'make a game in 48 hours' event called Ludum Dare a few months back. I wanted to explore the canvas element a little more, and ending up making this mars terraforming game. Its super buggy (to the point that I didn't even submit it to the contest), and there isn't really an end point to it ... but it was fun to make anyway.
