I had to go to this damn party last night. Fucking college. You always need to communicate. And not the kind of communication that interests me. I'd rather be on the beach, riding the waves. But I think I need to make new friends, or at least pretend to. I mean, I'm not really a loner. I have a few people I can talk to, but I'm always on the lookout for a new one.

Anyway, the party was at some kind of fraternity house. I came with a few of my buddies. There's nothing wrong with these guys. We arrived, and everything was pretty miserable. The college administration had a hand in organizing the event, which is why it sucked.

We couldn't just sit around and take it, you know. The party was boring as hell, full of nerds and bookworms. The music was so poor, and the drinks tasted like urine. We decided to spice things up, or at least try to.

We took out water balloons and practiced a little shooting at the geeks clustered around the training table. Then we figured out how to get into the dorm's sprinkler system and poured water on me a few sorority girls who thought they were too good for us. It was a riot, man.

After the place turned into a water park, we started moving furniture. It was funny to watch people stumble over tables and chairs. But the best part, the culmination of the resistance, should have happened when we turned off the lights. The screams, the chaos—it was great. We waited a bit, let everyone freak out, then slipped out the back door. We left the place in ruins, which is exactly what a student party should be

Of course, we're probably going to get in trouble, but it was worth it, judging by the expressions on their faces. And who knows? Maybe we really get to know a few people better now that we've shown them that we don't take ourselves too seriously.

empty roads where there are no people... the forest belt, I think. Sometimes I need to feel the adrenaline to feel alive. sometimes I want to accelerate so that my heart is racing and I feel a slight fear for my life
