another blm thing: milwaukee is the most segregated metro area in the us and the police force is unsurprisingly shit. please email the mayor about changing some regulations about uses of force. here's a template that's easy peasy:

if you're going to a protest:

don't show any revealing physical traits (like tattoos)

try to conceal/change your face as beat you can (i've seen people recommend face paint and/or face masks)

protective eyewear for tear gas
