A nod. “Yes, actually. She’s all settled in, but I think she’s anxious.” It was probably because Ai herself was anxious. Despite no longer being in danger, being in a new land was nerve wracking enough. 

“They say that Pegusi are emotionally attuned with their riders. So I guess she’s anxious because of me?” She laughed nervously. “Whoops.”

“Hmm...that just might be the case. Maybe a good run or flight can help. You’re always welcome to go into the kitchens and eat as well. Sometimes a good snack can help calm me down. That or a good book, actually...”

He’s rambling at this point but he does deeply care about his new ally.

“Maybe a nap too? Picking flowers?? Huh....”

“Are you faring well? Are you in need of any assistance? It was a scary situation to be in…” A sympathetic smile appears, and he gently puts his hand on her shoulder. 

“Oh, Yes i’m okay. Thank you for asking.” How many times has she thanked him now? She had lost count, and because of that she was rather embarrassed. 

Red now dusted her cheeks as she gave Roy a gentle smile in response. “I guess I can’t deny that I was rather frightened. The important thing is that i’m okay now!”

"Hahaha! Yes. You are safe now. We'll all make sure of it."

It was...astonishing. To think he was now in charge of such a big...well now that he thinks about it it's no longer a group of people. It was an army.

"You've settled your Pegusi in too correct? I know it must be different here than what you're both used to."

What I imagine Roy’s coronation outfit looked like when he succeeded the throne. Granted, he probably wasn’t as young as he looks in this drawing.  Also trying out some techniques to make my sketches a bit more interesting to look at. I’m thinking about selling sketch commissions like this, but I won’t draw them in my sketchbook so they won’t have any blurry parts.
