@bing-girls
i’M LAUGHING SO HARD BING IS NOW LITERALLY BRIBING PEOPLE TO USE THEIR SEARCHE ENGINE BY GIVING CREDITS THAT CAN BE RENEWED FOR GIFT CARDS FOR EACH SEARCH
LITERALLY I’M JUST SEARCHING WORDS LETTER BY LETTER TO GET POINTS THIS IS SO HILARIOUS YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING EXCEPT SIGN IN WITH A MICROSOFT OR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND JUST SEARCH THINGS
DUDE I AM A POOR COLLEGE STUDENT IN NEED OF GIFT CARDS THANK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION
you can only get 15 points a day on web (30 searches) and/or (?) 10 points a day (20 searches) on mobile just fyi
while this is true, lemme show you what my daily rewards thing looks like
I got 30 credits on PC search (because sometimes they double PC credits on the weekend), 10 credits for mobile, and one credit each for clicking the links listed above and letting them take me where they wished. Bam, 45 credits in one day. Anyone under Gold status hits 525, they get $5 just for searching. Get 750 credits (including the ones you’ve spent), you hit Gold status and need 10% fewer credits for all the rewards.
Also, check out some of these rewards.
I know there are people out there who struggle with money, and this is just a few of the things offered (most of the others are for games or Outlook or w/e)
So unless you’re paying for your internet by the minute or literally have no time to type a song lyric or gibberish one letter at a time, this is a win-win situation where you get money for free
"Don't forget to tell your friends! You can get a metric-ton of points the more you recommend!
Not to mention, If you use us long enough, we'll better learn your search habits to return more-relevant results, so you'll get a good search engine and a bunch of cool free stuff! Score!" - Nanao
It's difficult for new users to use/pin Live Tiles! Any guides, especially for this site's Live Tile? Looking forward to hear more from you soon!
For users running Windows 8.1, when working within Modern IE, selecting the favorite icon, indicated by a star, followed by the pin icon, indicated by a pushpin, will allow you to pin any webpage to your start screen. You can also pin any page from the desktop as a desktop page by selecting “Add site to Apps” from the settings menu, indicated by a gear. For all future inquiries on browser features, you may refer to Inori Aizawa. - Nanami
you guys don't post often.. :( where are you guys?
"Our workload has increased since Cortana came to work for us (in a sense), so we've really been quite busy. But rest assured we are here, waiting for any queries and requests you may bring [us]." - Nanae
ok thanks
Who's the oldest, and you're favorite food?
Nanae-chan is oldest, and I'm not sure. There's so much yummy food in the Bing Food and Drink app that it's so hard to choose! ~Nana

Hello everyone. Nanae here. I am pleased to announce that finally it is easier to integrate Bing Knowledge to your sites than ever before! Bing has recently integrated Bing Knowledge widgets into the Webmaster Tools, making it easier than ever to use. Now, instead of using a new embed code every time you change something, you can use a single line of code that will update your changes and settings automatically through the cloud!
You can learn more at the Microsoft Bing Blogs.
Bing Overhauls Music Video Discovery
At Bing, they never stop exploring ways to improve the search experience. Whether it’s making small adjustments to how we present results or major changes to the user interface, they’re always looking at new approaches to help you get more done.
Over the past several months, they have been working hard to develop a more natural way for people to discover and browse music videos. One of the core insights driving this work is the fact that when people search for music videos it’s fundamentally different than how they search for other types of video. When they examined search session data, they realized that when people search for music videos they tend to explore rather than finding what they were looking for and then moving on. Borrowing from how people have historically experienced music – via an album – the team created an experience that lets you seamlessly scan through the carousel based on top songs and individual albums.
Let’s take a look at how this works.
Now when you search for an artist, band, album or song we will trigger a dynamic carousel. For instance, if you search for Daft Punk we showcase their top songs at the top of the page.
From there, you can start exploring their songs without leaving the page. By clicking “Get Lucky”, we showcase a high quality video in the upper left of the results, which you can play or keep browsing songs in the carousel.
You can also use the carousel to browse by album – all without refreshing the page.
Once you have find an album you’re interested in, click on the image and we’ll display the songs so you can narrow down your search.
These updates join our existing features including video preview which lets you watch snippet of a video before launching the player or related artists that gives you handy list to expand your search.
With over 1.7 million songs, 70,000 artists they hope this release is music to your ears. So before you launch your favorite music sharing service or download site, head over to Bing and browse what we have to offer and let them know what you think.

Bing Health & Fitness Updates Pedometer for Nokia 630 and 635!
Designed to be your all-in-one tool for wellness, the Bing Health & Fitness app brings together nutrition, fitness and medical information, hundreds of workouts and tools that can be customized to your specific needs! Alright!
Today the Bing team is taking it a step further by adding a pedometer capability to the app, which will first ship with the Lumia 630 and 635. What this means is that your phone in your pocket can identify and continuously count all the steps that you have taken during the day, the calories burned and distance travelled! You can now analyze your activity and even track your goal progress over a day, week or month. Thus, with the new Bing Health & Fitness app, your phone doubles as a fitness tracker! Awesome, right?!
The pedometer functionality is built upon the Nokia SensorCore technology that allows for use of motion sensors without running down your battery. You can read more about the Lumia 630 on the Nokia Conversations blog here.

Bing Maps Styling Improvements Now Live...
Today, we are pleased to announce several rendering and styling improvements to Bing Maps to enhance aesthetics and usability.
Gradient Land Color
We introduced a new gradient coloring for land areas that adjusts the brightness to your zoom level. The land color will now be lighter when zoomed out and get darker when zoomed in at higher levels of detail. Not only do these updates improve the overall aesthetic appeal of the maps, but they also help increase the contrast, making streets and other features more visible.

After
Localized Landmark Icons
We also added new, culturally-accurate symbols for landmarks. Instead of using the same icons for landmarks like banks or pharmacies globally, we introduced new symbols that are relevant no matter where you are.
Transit Icon Consolidation
Additionally, we removed some instances where public transit icons were duplicated on the map in the United States.
Park Trails and Pathways
New styling helps clearly differentiate park trails and pathways from roads.
