I never intended for my next blog to be distanced so far from the first, but alas I was caught up in the black hole that is bingewatching. This time is was Game Of Thrones that had me succumbed to the need to repeatedly hit next episode.  This show had me entranced from the beginnning. I did not think I was going to like it, but boy was I wrong!!! The characters, the story line, the cinematography, every detail as fascinating and enthralling as the last. 

SPOILER ALERT NEXT :

I miss John Snow !!! The last episode had me crying, yelling, excited and even more in love than before. You know nothing John Snow, I hope you are not truly dead. May the dragon blood bring you back to lilfe. I need to know what has happened to Bran, I have to know where Sansa has ran off to with Theon. Arya, I would love to see become another Breann of Tarth. I absolutely adore Khaleesi and Tyrion Lannister. The coupling of this duo is something to behold. I think they will work together very well. 

I found myself wishing to be born in this era. The clothes, the legacies, the history, traditions. I fell in love with it all. 

I am team Stark all the way, but with the possibility of them reclaiming a throne looking rather bleak at the moment, I am a stern team Daenerys Targaryen. Her and her mighty feminine power and those gloriously loyal dragons. She is so fierce and beautiful, she leaves you wanting to see what wonderful freeing she will do next, or what fantastic words will spew forth from her mouth.

Characters that you love, hate, and love to hate as well as hate to love, a story line that leaves you intrigued and wanting more. This show gets two thumbs up, five stars, and four popcorn bags. A must watch by all means.

I normally read the books before I indulge in the cinema of a story. I am now going to read these books. The saying, books are always better will no doubt ring true in this case as well.

I am a self proclaimed, social media junkie. I have accounts on every site you can think of...Blogging is about the only thing I don’t do, until now. I have tried to blog about art, music, my drug addiction, motherhood, and so forth and so on. Nothing ever took. Until now. I have a serious addiction to binge watching series televison on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, or wherever I can find them. It started when Orange Is the New Black first came out. I then moved on to Weeds, Breaking Bad and House of Cards. My list is extensive now and I plan to share my likes, dislikes, honest opinions and critiques here.  I usually know after the first show if I am going to invest any more time in the series. My favorite is a show that has already come and gone and has at least five seasons. I usually start one series and that is what I devote my time to until I am finished with it. I wanted my first entry to be about how I got started, what  I like, don’t like, what shows I watch, which apps I use and the 411 of Binge Watching, my style. I hope you enjoy reading, and following and sharing me with others. I hope you will also talk with me, argue with me and discuss entries with me. So, now I want to list the shows I have completed. Weeds, Breaking Bad, Alphas, Dexter, The Following, The Killing, Californication, Parks and Recreation, Leverage, Private Practice, Flashpoint, Hannibal, and Nurse Jackie. The shows that I have binge watched and caught up on and now watch at regular air times are Scandal, The Good Wife, Graceland, Empire, Shameless, New Girl, Banshee, Orphan Black, Rectify, The Returned, and Complications. Social Media Original Series that are still going that I am a fan of are : Orange is the New Black, Hostages, House of Cards, Bloodline, Transparency, Alpha House, Hand of God, Sense 8, Grace and Frankie, Awake, The Darknet, Narcos, The Fall, and Bosch. Series that I am hooked on that have nothing to do with binging, because I have watched them from day one on the night they come on, it’s a must : Suits, The Blacklist, Bates Motel, Mr. Robot, Better Call Saul, and refer back to the ones I first caught up on by binge watching. Now, that you have my favorites, here are the ones that I started and didn’t like, or ones I still haven’t finished, or just couldn’t get into. Army Wives, Mad Men, Ray Donavan, Under the Dome, Sons of Anarchy, Scorpion, NCIS (both), Madame Secretary, and Prison Break. Ones I have heard of and think I am the only one NOT watching them : Walking Dead and True Blood. Now, I think you know a bit about my tastes in television, and whether or not you will be interested in what I have to say. So I will start off with my next blog being about my all time favorites, the characters, and why I miss them or am still watching. Keep checking in and follow me.
