Community

Community is everything. It is a meaningful, vital space where we stay together to share support and nurture one another.

We talk a lot about creating inclusive spaces, but if you do not grow up around diversity, you might not realize that diversity inherently means difference. Too many people mistake their preference for "sameness" as standard behavior, rather than a lack of comfort with the unfamiliar.

With shifting global dynamics and immigration issues top of mind, many communities are feeling overwhelmed. In response, people often unconsciously self-isolate, retreating into the comfort of familiar groups to find stability. While that desire for security is human, it inadvertently leads to gatekeeping.

We cannot build a truly inclusive society if we limit our interactions to people from our own backyard, rejecting different dialects, regional backgrounds, or alternative ways of thinking. Inclusivity does not mean including somepeople; it means including all people. When we celebrate difference, we choose intellectual growth over stagnant comfort.

We often like to view ourselves as sophisticated and intellectual, yet hidden prejudices still persist. If we want real change, we must stop protecting our comfort zones and start genuinely opening our doors to the world. True intellect requires the humility to listen to voices that don't sound exactly like our own.

Entrapta commonly uses pick up lines (usually scientific ones) and they go directly over Hordak’s head.

Entrapta: If I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put U and I next to each other 😉

Hordak: As in move U to the position of H? Or to the position of J? Or do you mean move I to T or V? Please be more specific.

Entrapta: …that doesn’t really matter, I meant it like a—

Hordak: Of course it matters. This is the alphabet. We cannot rearrange it without just cause and understanding.

Entrapta: Hordak.

Entrapta: Hey, are you made of copper, uranium, and tellurium? 😏

Hordak: I most certainly am comprised of several different elements. I do not believe that those specific—

Entrapta: No, what does that spell?

Hordak: C-U-Te. CUTE. Yes. But regardless of the acronym, it sounds like an unstable mixture, as tellurium and uranium would create a metal that might not phase well with the properties of carbon, in which—

Entrapta: I give up. Just kiss me.

Hordak: Okay!

Imagine in S2 White Out if Bow had had a proper chat with Entrapta and convinced her to swap sides again. Or if Scorpia hadn't grabbed her when she ran out and Entrapta was left behind again. Would there have been a heart to heart chat with all the princesses with apologies all round and no more misunderstandings or crossed wires? Maybe friendship wins over and everyone is happy.

And then Entrapta writes to Hordak and the SPT to tell them how great everything is and... Oh dear... Guess that's not gonna work out after all...

Question: in SPOP are boobs windows only for the bad guys before season 5? Trying to think of another character who has one other than super pal trio or Glimmer after she frees the Heart of Etheria.

Perfuma: Aren’t you scared of Hordak at all? I know he cares about you, but when he’s mad he must lash out at you. Has he ever hurt you?

Entrapta: Perfuma, one time he accidentally bumped into me while we were walking opposite directions in the hallway and he fell to his knees sobbing and begging me to forgive him. I didn’t even feel it. It took an hour to calm him down. I think I’m safe.
