Simon being the only member of the ch&cers (I ALMOST SAID CATHODE RAY THATS NOT RIGHT) who is at least somewhat religious has been underutilized thus far I should be doing something with that

Uhh Simon thinking this is some kind of punishment for something he did when he was living maybe this is hell. Also I think ending one’s life is a sin? In Catholicism???? UH that sounds about right. So I guess during that one time he was like “maybe I’m already in hell so it doesn’t matter anymore” and then yeah it didn’t work which only encourages his suspicions. Man I feel bad for this guy I think about him often he deserves only the best (<- says guy who ruined his life in the first place)

yaaaa 🥹🥹 when he makes contact with people and makes friends his life starts to get better. And then he almost gets drowned in his bathtub but THEN he gets his sense of identity back a bit and experiences happiness so he wins eventually

i love reading witch hat atelier for so many reasons but man it always reminds me just how much drawing means to me, and then i get to thinking about how i could be pouring my time everyday to improving as an artist and practicing my passion as my life's focus, but instead ive basically abandoned that dream because our current world simply does not allow artists to survive :')
