Ash did successfully help Gary save the world to say fuck you to Arceus for making him the Chosen One.

They started out using each other because Ash wanted to see Gary try the Chosen One shit and make Gary do it instead because he doesn't want to while Gary immediately knew that Ash was the Chosen one and wanted to use him to make sure he does save the world.

They fell in love and wanted to help each other as Gary noticed how isolating being the Chosen One really is and wanted Ash to be happy. While Ash saw that people who aren't the Chosen One can help the world and just wants Gary to achieve his dream and be happy.

As you can see I am not good at writing romance. But I liked the Real Chosen One and False Chosen One concept as a reference of Himmel being a fake hero.

Gary was the one to save the world in this AU :)

I'm debating whether to make Ash a selfish person trying to pawn over his title as Chosen One to Gary but what I'm 100% sure is that Gary dies, no matter what.

Dunno if I'm gonna do more of this AU but feel free to use it.

alright i can take this one and run with it. Blue was the type who made sonic ocs as a kid as a coping mechanism for how cool he wanted to be perceived as and then pretends like he didn't when called out for it. he has bought and played and 100%ed every single sonic game. every game. his favorite is not adventure, because that's too "mainstream", but CD. he says it's because of the game mechanics but actually it's just because he finds metal sonic a little bit too relatable. he will not process this.

Red is the type of splatoon player that everyone wants on their team because he's the best damn e-liter this regions ever seen. (would red be an e-liter? yeah I think he would be. tbh i think he'd either be either e-liter or dualies but i'm open to suggestions, and he'd absolutely use ninja squid and ink saver sub. man is a menace with sub weapons.) he booyahs everyone all of the time and will absolutely engage in squid parties. he's chaos incarnate and tends to camp in enemy territory but doesn't splat, just runs around or inks. he's managed to find the most obscure lookout points to jump to. he has done the math and created the most optimal gear for every single individual weapon but doesn't use them because he's in it for the bit. his favorite character is sheldon. he will not process this.
