Al-Hijr 15:98

Indeed, We know that your breast becomes tight because of what they say. So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him).

meaning `We know, O Muhammad, that you are distressed by their insults towards you, but do not let that weaken your resolve or cause you to give up conveying the Message of Allah. Put your trust in Him, for He will suffice you and will support you against them. Keep yourself busy with remembering Allah, praising Him, glorifying Him, and worshipping Him (which means Salah, or prayer)’

Hence Allah says:

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ

(So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him).

Imam Ahmad reported from Nu`aym bin Hammar that he heard the Messenger of Allah say:

قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى

يَا ابْنَ ادَمَ لَاا تَعْجَزْ عَنْ أَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ أَكْفِكَ اخِرَه

Allah said,

“O son of Adam! It is not too difficult for you to perform four Rak`ah at the beginning of the day, (and if you do them,) I will take care of you until the end of it.”

قال ابن شهاب الزهري:

لو جمع علم عائشة‎ إلى علم جميع النساء لكان علم عائشة‎ أفضل.

Al-Imām ibn Shihāb az-Zhu’ri رحمه الله said,

"If the knowledge of Ā’ishah رضي الله عنها was compared with the knowledge of [all the other wives of the the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ and with] all women, the knowledge of Ā’ishah رضي الله عنها would be greater, and she would surpass all other women."

The Dua Of Yunus

The Prophet [ﷺ] and he said:

«ألا أخبركم بشيء، إذا نزل برجل منكم كرب أو بلاء من بلايا الدنيا دعا به يفرج عنه؟ فقيل له: بلى، فقال: دعاء ذي النون: لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين.» ❝’Shall I not inform you with a matter, that if a calamity or a trial from the trials of the Duniya befall a person and then he makes Dua with this matter he will be free from that calamity?’ It was said to him: ‘Of course.’ He said: ‘The Dua of Yunus: ‘There is none worthy of worship except You, free are You from imperfection and indeed I am from the oppressors.’❞ Silsilah Saheehah, (No. 1744)

Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allāh have mercy on him - :

“Emulating the Ṣahābah and the Tābi'īn increases one’s intellect, religiosity and noble mannerisms.”

Iqtidā aṣ-Ṣirāṭ al-Mustaqīm (1/527)

‘Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb said:

“Behave humbly with those who taught you and those who you teach.”

Allah says in Surah al Baqarah: “Some of them are illiterate (‘Ummiyyun), Knowing nothing of the book but wishful thinking. They only speculate.”

Ibn Taymiyyah says about this ayah in Majmūah al Fatāwa:

Ibn Abbas and Qatadah interpreted the meaning of the word ‘ummiyyoon’ (illiterate) as meaning,

“They do not understand the meaning of the book. They learn it, they memorize it, and they recite it without understanding it. The meaning of ‘illiterate’ in this verse does not mean that they cannot read or write. They read it, memorize it and teach it yet they don’t understand what the book is talking about. They are satisfied by only reciting it.”
