I am currently working on a Marvel AU longfic centered on Killmonger's coup in the Black Panther movie. I wrote one chapter back in 2018, and eight years later I finally have conceptualized it all to have a road map of how I will get it done.
Here is what I am weaving:

story summary:
Five days after King T’Chaka’s assassination at the UN Summit in Vienna, mercenary Erik Stevens reappears at the black-market clinic of his estranged partner, Tilda Johnson—a prodigal biochemist turned military operator he left a year ago to enact his plan.
Now his final mission begins: activate his insurgent cell and infiltrate Wakanda.
But first, he needed to get to her.
Yet, Tilda knew Erik—the nigga, the man, and the militant. And the scars across his body told her exactly what trouble he was dragging back into her life ten toes deep.

So many, but especially the question of what good is.
More than anything, this project functions as an anthropological reconstruction of an Afro-futuristic kingdom, in the modern world, whose history stretches across the continent of Africa millennia before Kemet. In Earth-616, the Kingdom of Wakanda has 18 tribes, but only six of them are popularly known (Golden, Mining, River, Border, Merchant, and Jabari Tribes). The thing about me, is that I want to talk about the whole pie, but just not all in book one. So here we are, migration patterns, Pan-African genealogies, deities, and seasoned Marvel soup.
Development Updates:
I’ve finished plotting; now I’m updating my writing console with the completed outline for the discovery draft. This stage is all about stabilizing the systems that will support the actual writing. What’s left on my desk:
syncing my web on Notion + linking out
confirming a few AU recastings + characters sheets
expanding the cartography layer so I have reliable geography to reference while drafting
tightening the lore scaffolding so nothing collapses during the writing sprint
In other words, I’m stabilizing the lore and locking the whole system into place so the first-draft production period has a solid spine. The tales I could tell about all of this is why you see me scuttling across your screen.
Clearly I needed gray hair for this, I'm just doing my circuit back to you all to report back.
This blog will grow slowly and deliberately to be my archival space for drafts, research fragments, visual experiments, character studies.

Djalia, the Ancestral Plane in Black Panther Lore
Here is a mockup of my reimagining of it within my AU.
In this cosmology, the civilization we call Kemet originates from Old Kingdom Wakandans. These pre-Bashenga clans-migratory lineages rooted in early Wakandan society—traveled north along the Nile corridor, carrying with them language, ritual, cosmology, and agronomic knowledge that seeded the foundations of Nile Valley statecraft.
In the present era, the Kingdom of Wakanda lies south of the Great Lakes region, its lands still shaped by the ancient waters that once fed the Nile itself.
This AU reframes Wakanda not as just an isolated mountain kingdom, but as a civilization shaped by continental migrations, ecological continuity, and the recursive memory of Djalia—a nation whose earliest ancestors helped shape Kemet, and whose modern polity still echoes that primordial journey.
