I got to meet Alessandro Juliani and Brian Drummond at a local con and they autographed the LoMN DVD case I've had since childhood! Massive dream come true omfg, it's been hours and I'm still floating cuz that's half the Toa Metru right there, and two of my fav ones at that.
I remember like over a decade ago I joked how if I got to see them at a panel someday, most fans would be there for Death Note and I'd be the one rando excited about Bionicle and that was exactly how it went lmao, it was kinda perfect.
But yeah, I now know what it means to be starstruck cuz Alessandro signed it out to me (hence my name censored in the pic) and I forgot what I was saying mid-sentence and started giggling omfg, it was probably really obvious that Vakama is my fave.
Some fun facts:
Brian didn't know he was going to be assigned to voice two characters when he first auditioned, and he kinda had to figure out how to make Matau and Onewa sound different from each other (ngl he did a great job)
Alessandro didn't know that the bonkle fandom was as big as it was until he started going to cons more (thank you to my predecessors, I'm glad I'm not alone)
here's hoping I get to meet Nokama, Whenua, and Nuju someday to complete the team, this is a family heirloom now

Lego has taken down my BIONICLE video commentaries.
Several of my videos have been copyright claimed and blocked by @LEGO (or someone claiming to be LEGO). Automatic flagging for any clips used from the movies. Many other Bionicle YouTubers are saying the same thing has happened to them. So far, all disputes and appeals done through YouTube's system have been aggressively rejected, leaving few options but to settle this legally.
To be clear, my videos are NOT copyright infringements. All of my content is transformative commentary, my personal analysis, which is EXPLICITLY protected by US Fair Use law. I will be fighting this, as will the other BioTubers. I will be continuing to make my videos and my analysis, Lego has no right to silence us. And for them to do this less than a year after that bullshit about Masks of Power? I'm about ready to be done with Lego as a company
According to the Bionicle Day discord this is a round of false claims. Actual Lego refer to themselves as "The Lego Group" and content being cited in these claims doesnt actually exist (referencing seasons and episodes). They say you should be able to get the claims reversed
I've been talking with the people there too, and its gotten more complicated just today. Right now, there is actually evidence that it may be Lego. The email address used was actually linked to official Lego content from a few years ago. Its possible that its been either hacked or spoofed, but whoever did this used an actual Lego account. I also know personally that Lego has referred to themselves as LEGO and not The LEGO Group in other youtube copyright claims, like they've done with videos that use the G2 videos.
What's worse is whoever is making these claims is digging their heels in. They've rejected both disputes and appeals, and some people have gotten copyright strikes because of it. So the current option is preparing for actual legal action, and we're trying to organize BioTube to present a united front
