Has the NRA become the American version of Isis? Thatās what many, including myself, are asking after watching their latest commercial. This commercial pits conservatives against liberals with its US verses THEM approach. It seems to say that a new civil war is coming because liberals are attacking American democracy and the only way to halt the onslaught is for conservatives to arm up and fight. It makes me sick to my stomach that any American organizations would seek to pit American citizens against each other in armed combat. What makes me even sicker is that the NRA is doing it in order to sell more weapons. The only winners in war are politicians, weapons manufacturers, coffin makers, and undertakers. Ladies and gentlemenā¦ For your viewing pleasure (or displeasure as were). Watch this ad and then you be the judgeā¦has the NRA finally out done themselves?
Armed combat eh? I watched the same video and I don't think saying "The only way to save our country and our freedom from this violence of lies is with a clenched fist of truth" is advocating armed combat. Fighting lies with truth? Seems perfectly fine to me. Science does it all the time. And the only ones I see calling for violence are anarcho-communist groups like Antifa, saying that letting conservatives speak is supporting violence against (insert group here). And not once did they say the words "gun" or "arm" to support your saying. They're just against people beating up others who disagree.

Feminism is hopelessly misguided and women would agree. 7% of women in the UK and 18% in the US define themselves as feminists. Try looking at the other side of things. I would recommend TL;DR to start with since he focuses more on data and facts more than entertainment. I donāt hate you, I donāt wish anything vile upon you (Iām looking at you, @royalarmpit). I only disagree and want you to see things from a different perspective.

The most recent source I found was the head of Canadaās first mens shelter, Earl Silverman got shut down because he couldnāt pay for it. I apologize for getting the harassment part wrong. But the point is no one cares about abuse against men. No government organization he went to lender funds for over 20 years.
you do realize those with power to start funding are men? a majority of men are in positions of political power as well, they are making the choice not to fund nor start campaigns for menās shelters it isnāt womenās faults
I never said it was women's faults. I won't blame my mother, grandmother or any female friends of mine for a problem they probably never heard about. What are y'all fighting for? Like seriously, what has society deprived you of? How are you oppressed? Who dropped you as a child? What does the your parents basement look like? I have so many questions.
We are fighting for genital integrity (No circumcision), to be actually considered when we as men are raped, to receive fair treatment in custody battles and criminal courts, in which we are at a distinct disadvantage. The right to vote without signing up to die for our country whenever Congress chooses. The right to abandon parental responsibility as women can without being criminalized. And we fight to keep the concept of due process in rape cases instead of the accusation being used as evidence (Yes I know about Brock Turner, but that was a judge, not the jury). This is just a few things we fight for.

In class once the girls decided to put on a sad movie to pick out all the weak and pathetic guys in the class.
Surprisingly there where only two guys who where pathetic enough and weak enough to hold in emotion for fear of being seen as un-manly.
The others who did cry or at least show emotion seriously scored our respect and we all spoke to the boys who didnāt cry afterwards telling them to man up and stop trying to conform to society expectations of men.
It was a overall very positive and educational lesson on sexism and mens rights to be free to express emotion and have there emotions validated.
Good god I think that's awful! One, this girl you're referring to literally put on a movie to MANIPULATE people's emotions. Then they shame the ones who don't cry because of "society". Society makes people do X and forbid Y, so you make X forbidden and Y mandatory. You're just as bad. People have different ways of expressing emotion. I find it disgusting that you shame people just because they didn't put on the waterworks like you wanted them to.
Okay but that post about the hypocrisy of a magazine objectifying women while at the same time commenting on the bulges of male divers is funny becauseā¦ Itās obvious these guys donāt mind being checked out. Theyāre going into this sport not wearing any shirt, wearing the skimpiest speedo that is designed to show off as much of the guyās body as humanly possible without him being totally naked. Like letās be real, swooning over the bodies these guys are obviously trying to show off is not the same as objectifying women.
I think a proper translation can be "Look at what he's wearing? He was asking for it!". Just replace he with she, there's the hypocrisy.
This is a petition about a course started in the Bank Street School for Children teaching white children to hate themselves because of white privilege and black children to consider themselves superior for the same reason. This is what happens when social justice leaks from universities all the way down to public schools. I was thinking of a little protest I can do. Iām sure you all remember the āThis is what a feminist looks likeā tshirts. Thatās probably because the company that made them was exposed for child labor, but thatās not the point. I would like to do something similar for anti-feminism and/or menās rights activism. I want to wear this at my college and see how it turns out. But there are a lot of questions I have. Iāll list them here.
1. What will it say on the shirt itself?
2. How will will I conduct this protest? (Ex. Walking around in the shirt, speech, etc.)
3. How will I make sure that Iām physically safe during this?
4. When will I conduct it? Next week? Wait until International Menās Day in November?
Iāll take advice from the blogs that I know to by anti feminist/for menās rights and that I follow such as @satanic-anti-feminist, @angryinkeddrunk, @thesjwfoundation, and anyone else whoās willing.
That really depends on what youāre protesting about. For anti feminism you could use a funny slogan likeĀ āanti feminism is the radical idea that women are adultsā but for MRAā its better to use single issue slogans, eg about circumcisionĀ āYou wouldnāt cut her, why cut himā. Hand out flyers about lots of specific menās issues, instead of the whole movement. And refuse to get into shouting matches. If someone starts on you remain calm and if they get into your face, stay in a group and walk away.
I was thinking of something like "This is what a men's rights activist/anti-feminist looks like or something like that. The problem is I don't know how to make t-shirt designs. Plus handing out flyers can actually get me a fine on campus.
