what are they doing to my goat 💔💔💔💔💔
It doesn't make sense that fandom people on here call people "Christian" for hating villains and redemption arcs. Literally all Christians are like "Tommy, I don't fucking care that your uncle beat your mom into a coma and tried to murder your dad! He is a man of Christ! So if you don't forgive him, you're gonna burn in HELL!"

Once when I was in undergrad, someone described something as “problematic” in class and our professor was like, “That’s cool, but ‘problematic’ doesn’t really mean anything. It means that the thing you’re describing has a problem, and in and of itself that’s not bad. Art, especially, should always have problems, or else it’s not interesting and not art, either. It sounds like you’re trying to say that this is bad, but you don’t want to say ‘bad.’ Is that right?”
So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the “bad” thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, “I’m uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.”
Once we stopped calling things “problematic” and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, “that’s racist” or “that’s misogynistic” or “ew capitalism gross” out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, “Uhhh... I’m not sure what’s so bad?” and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.
Anyway. Whenever I see the word problematic, I can’t help but think of this professor being like, “Good starting point, now let’s get specific.” I think when we have to commit to saying “that’s ___” it requires a lot more careful thought about the truth and impact and complexities of whatever we’re claiming. Sometimes there really is some bullshit afoot, and also sometimes it’s art, and it should be full of problems, because that’s what art is.
Who wanna tell me im a pretty little fag for pride mounth
happy pride demon or whatever ppl say idk
the most valueable skill a white leftist can ever learn is how to take an L with grace.
You gotta be able to take an L if your moral and ethical belief systems are to be capable of guiding you. Otherwise you just have an idealized self where you get really mad and scared when anyone points out it isn't actually you. How the fuck are you gonna walk the walk if you can't handle being told when you are not, in fact, actually walking it
you cannot just socially transition into being a good person you are going to have to settle for being a messy human being who has to try and fail and keep trying to get better like everyone else. yeah even when it's embarassing and sucks for you a lot.
Ya gotta learn to earnestly and honestly say "Oh shit, my bad."
And to then end the sentence there, not launch into a paragraph of explanation or panicked super-apology.
I mean if you're stranded at sea and you do kill a seagull with a golf ball and it lands on the deck and you don't have any water you COULD drink its blood for hydration but you run the risk of losing more water if it makes you too nauseous, and you would get more hydrated just eating the meat. If has bird flu you're fucked tho.
of course any sailor could tell you "don't kill a seagull it's bad luck" but personally if a sailor told me that while I hucked another wilson soft at a screaming airborne beach menace I would probably not handle the advice too well. I would most likely not take it with a lot of patience if I'm being fully honest
Id use my fantastic machine that turns blood into water.
it's always the fantastic blood machine with this guy

I'm sorry I read this as "necromantic third wheel" and went on a very rapid powerful imagination adventure. hello lovebirds I'm the skeleton here for breadsticks
You get transported into the universe of the last media you consumed. How are you doing?
This is better than my real life
I'm doing well
I'm doing fine
I'm not having a good time
I'm absolutely cooked
There is nothing different about this universe and my own
Imma say this and imma start my day, but
Like I said to the person who was threatening me with their own suicide yesterday (before blocking them), I think it's worth considering why y'all make excuses and/or get defensive when someone says something is racist.
Why are you that upset? If I said the design is racist, why are you telling me every reason you thought it wasn't, as if that's going to make the harm any less upsetting? As if it's going to rationalize it (which, really, underscores that you think there's an overreaction occurring).
"Well I thought it was-" "but I thought it was-" "well to be fair, it's-" why do I have to bring an entire court case of evidence to prove harm, but the harmful party/situation in question gets the automatic benefit of the doubt in your mind?
I get being thorough and not accepting anything at face value. But it doesn't escape me that excusing and rationalizing racism is the default response. If we're doing that every time someone approaches us... You may wonder why y'all don't get approached with said problems.
"I'm not racist I just [racism after racism] and it's because I'm also neurodivergent"
What's crazy is everyone else in the game that's human is dead too. Thus, Hades. But, ya know.
"why'd you block me instead of debate me about skin color? But don't flame me for saying this" Bro 😭
Homie over there like thinking they look like
Apparently you're not Black either according to 'em. Went to block and saw this in the comments of the post.
This is the second person in two days to say that they didn't know the person running creatingBLACKcharacters... Is Black. Do y'all believe in your own audacity this badly 😅
Also, I did have responses to them. But their "sickness" (racism) was preventing them from hearing me. I will admit, once they dropped the racist comment they did, I 100% called them a bigot and left the conversation to block them. Please, how am I gonna converse with someone who led with subtle racism, and then outright donned the white hood? 😐🤷🏾♀️
i was going to tell them on that post that maybe they should think about why theyre defending themselves so much and to maybe take a break from posting if theyre really not feeling well. but as it turns out they deleted the post entirely so...?
