And of course, happy NINTH ANNIVERSARY of the premiere of Gravity Falls!

This year we have some more cryptid-hunting on the misty Oregon coast, wearing lovingly-crafted Mabel sweaters, and pausing to Facetime with the niblings before resuming the search for the elusive sasquatch (who looks like he may not remain elusive for very much longer! stay tuned for a sequel…).

The sweaters are based on a pair I did back in 2017, that I’d wanted to redo for a while now.  I was always fond of the layers to the symbolism of these.

Looked at a lot of pics of the Oregon coast for this, particular of Secret Beach in the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor, as it seemed appropriate and is indeed VERY scenic.

Bill Cipher is such a great villain because he’s the most horrifying, amoral sadistic chaos being in the multiverse but he looks like this.

He’s got a jaunty little hat and a sharp bowtie and baby hands and cute eyelashes and he’s a little guy c’mon it’s his birthday!

Just… messing around with some new brushes, and new inking tools.  Not that you can really tell in the final product, but it’s good to just screw around with them and see what they can do.  Anyway, have Ford cleaning his glasses. 

(Honestly, nevermind light bulbs that make your skin softer – what Ford needs to do is invent glasses that never smudge or get dirty.  The entire world would hail him as a hero.)
