Now that the con is over, I’m catching up on things on my accounts. Although my activity feed got a little wonky, it doesn’t look like I have any replies to do. So, I’ll use this as a STARTER CALL. Gently tap that heart for a thing that’s short to medium in length. For group members, they'll be non-event so that the threads can continue beyond the event.

I'm leaving some parts of her background open in case people want to plot pre-established relationships, but here are some basic things about her for the event.
♛ The progeny of affluent parents, she's an heiress accustomed to the finer things in life. ♛ Other than that, she's a normal lonely teenager with a fondness of birds. ♛ Takes weekly ballet lessons from an esteemed professional ballet instructor on the island. ♛ Work? You mean evaluating the teas at various establishments around the Golden Ward? ♛ Just might talk down to you if you're a peasant since she's #princessgoals . ♛ Is #toocoolforschool , but is still a student who attends classes anyhow.
M’kay. As some know, Tumblr accidentally terminated my account reusmater on Monday while I was working on switching themes. I’m working on setting up pages on my new account @reusmaters , and would really appreciate it if those interested in interacting could REBLOG this post so that I can reconnect with people.
IMPORTANT. To keep this short, THIS exact experience that someone else had just happened to me with my reusmater account. I’ve messaged Tumblr, and now I’m just waiting for a response from staff. I’m guessing that won’t happen until Wednesday at the earliest. So, just a head’s up though that I’m not gone and I didn’t jump ship / abandon the blog. I'm waiting for the account to be restored.

RAISING HIS HANDS WOULD HE SLOWLY CLASPED THEM around the cup, putting it to his lips to begin drinking, yet not only half a second later did he jerk his head back with a hiss. ❝ hot. ❞ he looked back at the girl, blue eyes looking up & down her frame. ❝ you’d think it would help you feel better … yet it only seems to do the opposite. like it’s just a looming feeling in your mind that won’t go away, ya know ? ❞
at the impetuous exclamation, the cultivated adolescent cannot help but roll her umber eyes. given its name, 'twould be unacceptable if the saccharine libation that he's gingerly nursing were as gelid as ice. not that the juvenescent heroine would lift a lightsome digit to rectify the dilemma. she's certainly not malignant, but she's not the most gallant of individuals either.
for a transitory moment, she ruminatively purses feminine lips. either contrition or disillusionment relentlessly bedevils the communicative youth presently seated 'fore her vigilant eyes. ❝ i can't say that i know EXACTLY what you're feeling, but i have an idea. once you stop denying something, it becomes REAL. how unpleasant the truth is determines how you'll feel after you face it. ❞ for the unassuaged trepidation that plagued her hummingbird heart because of disconcerting thoughts of perishing upon a tumultuous battlefield hasn't VANISHED. unbidden perturbation has not ceased lurking within. veracity simply placated the arduous lonesomeness found in duplicity. solidarity heartens, after all. ❝ you'd think the hardest part would be being honest with others impacted by your lies, but the challenge truly lies in being honest with yourself. you might not feel all that great right now, but you did the right thing. just try not to rush to the next part. ❞

there’s something about this girl’s tone that comes off as lofty, even to someone as ordinarily unperceptive as rachel. there’s a frown that creases her features; granted, she’d chosen to walk today, but it isn’t as if there aren’t other ways to get around.
“if you’re new here, you won’t have money for a limo.” her tone is flat, with the idea of riding limousines everywhere being near-unthinkable. maybe it’s a joke, which is why her next words emerge with a slightly lighter note. “it depends which ward you’re in. we’re in archimedes right now, so there’s a free trolley or you can rent something like a bike.”
The perfunctory dismissal of her query elicits an impertinent scoff from eloquent lips. ❝ Don't be ridiculous. MONEY has never been a concern of mine. I might be on a different planet, but that doesn't mean my wealth just vanished. ❞ Surely she's not become some penniless derelict overnight. Were it not such a disconcerting scenario, she'd likely roll her eyes in a facetious fashion.
Bespeaking disapprobation and repugnance, a visible frown forms upon her youthful countenance. ❝ Do you know how contaminated those things are? Unless they're thoroughly cleaned by trained professionals, they're practically pools of germs and diseases. ❞ Besides, while a bike might be good for leisure, she's certainly not looking to overexert herself by utilizing one as a means of transportation.

True, he could be fibbing, but there seems to be unfeigned sincerity in his voice. Besides, what's far more bemusing - far more confounding - is the fact that miscomprehension instigated hostilities. ❝ You’re joking. What kind of MISUNDERSTANDING leads someone to DESTROY an entire planet? ❞

Bearing an eternal predilection for tea, she finds the very notion of someone abhorring it inconceivable. She doesn't hesitate to presuppose that he's fond of it as well. ❝ NO ONE is as familiar with tea as I AM. In fact, I don't doubt you'd like peppermint or cinnamon right now. It just so happens I'm new and need a new place to go to for TEA TIME.
