Process vid of LENORA for @@thislovelylady.
Haven’t really drawn in over a year or so. @thislovelylady was having a stressful week. Et voila, the Goddess and her mortal counterpart.
daemonflorescence:
“Don’t I always?” He hummed, finally angling his head up to look at her, watching her wiggle atop the wall. A sigh as the request for help was made, shaking his head. “Next time, I’d recommend not being so high up.”
A slight bend of his knees, before pushing at the ground and jumping up to meet her, foot catching the edge of the wall as he stepped up.
Arms crossed, looking down to her, lips curled into the beginning of a smile.
“Stuck?”
“Not technically, no.” She could always scramble down. Or jump. (Or fall.) That didn’t mean she wanted to, though, did it? She lifted her thin arms into the air, tossed her head back, and mock-pouted, blinking those big grey eyes of hers. “Carry me?”
He was the one with superhuman legs or whatever. Let him do the dangerous stuff!
daemonflorescence:
He had to wonder if she thought that he didn’t know she was there. Atop the wall was far, yes, but distinctive. Shadows follow a pattern that he knew from so long spent within his garden, even a normalcy of smells courtesy of the flowers he had planted.
So when a new shadow appeared, and the wind carried a scent that was not a flower, he knew he had a visitor.
“Mm. Some would call that spying, with the way you’re watching me.” A smile at his lips as he spoke out to her, though he had yet to look up and truly see her.
Wick laughed.
“Hey, you looked busy, okay?” She wiggled in place, her boots crunching against the stone. “And it’s been a while. I didn’t know if you’d be especially welcoming. -- But you seem friendly enough, so, why don’t you help me down, and I’ll give you what I brought you, hm~?”
Being so short meant getting down from such heights was always a little... treacherous.
If anyone wants to help me find a faceclaim, that’d be rad --
My hair’s all blue and shoulder-length right now. (It’s tied back here.)
Larger on the Inside | @jardinfleursduciel
She’d wandered into a lot of gardens lately, hadn’t she? -- Figuratively and literally, that is. -- Still, though, she usually at least had some idea of who she would be running into on the other side. But this was more a roulette situation, wasn’t it?
Would she have cakes with Jude? Would she be able to check in on Khint and his kiddos? (Where even was Jackal?) Would she... Well. Who knew what she would do if she met Ephemera. Planned or not, he was always a bit of a wildcard. Pros knew how to handle him much better than most others probably did, even a Writer like herself.
She sighed, placing her hands on her hips. Looked around.
It was weird not knowing. She really was so used to knowing.
“Hello?”
Blue is Blue is Blue | @nymphatragicae
Had they ever truly spoken? Perhaps not. Close enough? Maybe, but technically... Well. What is reality, if not what we make of it, mm? She really had enjoyed their little interactions. The dancing, the questions. The ever present will they, won’t they, should they.
How long ago was that now?
“I think about him sometimes, you know. I can’t help myself.” Wick grinned at her. She’d been playing it off, wondering if she’d noticed. Her hair wasn’t lavender anymore, after all. In fact, it was quite like Aqua’s own deep, true blue. “Makes me think of you, naturally.”
A Flower for a Rose | @daemonflorescence
Perched atop the garden wall, legs folded beneath her indian-style, the strange woman produced a flower from her bag. (Er... was it “flowers”?) It was not one of his roses. Of course not, she wouldn’t do something like that. Stealing roses! Goodness. No, this was a dainty little thing, bells of white drooping on a single bright, green stem. crowned with fat, grass-like leaves. It hadn’t wilted, despite its precarious transport, and she seemed very happy to finally be giving it to him.
“I’ve come to check in on my favorite pinkette,” she called, tone playful.
So We Meet for the First Time (Kind Of?) | @thislovelylady
The two women were moving with varying purposes. Their steps were quick, their paths clear. They practically floated through the crowds, as if they’d done it their whole lives. And they could have continued to do that, could have danced along without a single hitch, side-stepped one another, shifted shoulders and bounded -- if not for the other’s similar trajectory.
You see, that’s the thing with souls. Some are just... meant to connect.
In this case, rather forcefully so.
“Oh -- Oh, I’m so sorry.”
Wick smiled at the woman before her, the look both kind and apologetic.
