Let's be clear, I started this page because work wants me to have one, to put the Ranch out there in the public eye a little more. Don't love doing this but maybe it'll grow on me. Alright, with that being said, I'm Birdie (she/her). I'm 17, originally from Southern Unova, but right now I'm living in Johto. I have a pretty small team of Pokemon at the moment, but I guess I'll tell you about what I've got. Yippee (Togepi) She's a darling. Very young so she can't do much on her own and I don't have a great read on her personality yet. Will update if y'all are curious. Wirt (Sawsbuck, Autumn form) First Pokemon right here. He's feisty and has a lot of personality. Can't turn my back for five seconds without him getting into trouble. Love him dearly though, and because I'm pretty short and he's pretty big he makes a great steed. I work for the Cozy Cabin Ranch as a volunteer. We help to rehabilitate Pokémon and we'll also watch your Pokémon for a little bit, if you need us to. We're located in Johto, a couple miles outside of Azalea Town. This place has been open for nearly a century and has always provided reliable care. This page will be partially mine and partially dedicated to promoting the ranch and our current Pokémon. SO, I've been thinking a lot 'n I'm considering becoming a Pokemon Ranger. The rescue work I did in Hoenn just felt right somehow? Wirt seems good at it too. I'd have to talk to Maria about it, definitely, because I wouldn't be based out of here anymore in all likelihood. I'd miss the ranch, but... also, the prospect of taking my own path just feels right?

I ended up at the Cozy Cabin Ranch after living at home got to be a little much, y'see, and I didn't really have much choice in where I was going. Maria was the only bit of extended family that was open, so I just kinda ended up here. And I love it, but I just wish I'd gotten to choose. And now... I might be able to.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I came up with a name for myself. I've chosen to go by Poppy. Flowers are one of the few things I have from my life before so it just.. felt right.

if you battle, talk about a battle that was really important to you! I don't battle, unfortunately. Always wanted to get into it but I'm much better at nursing pokemon back to health. what kind of treats do you give your pokémon? Wirt is easy, he just likes oran berries. He'll eat them as food and as a treat. Yippee is a little harder, but you give her anything sweet and she'll be satisfied. I'm partial to pokepuffs for her, only as a treat though of course. name something about your partner pokémon that makes you really proud of them! Wirt's performance in Hoenn was stellar. He was the greatest fella he's ever been. He stayed warm well in the cold and lead me through the snow, knowing the way better than I did at times. He also helped rush people and pokemon to safety and made good pace in the snow. Will forever be proud of him for his achievements that day.

Do you have a favorite legendary pokémon? Yes! I really love Entei. Maybe a little out of character for me, but it's just so fluffy. Looks like it'd make an amazing friend. Thank you! You're too kind. I'm just doing what I can. I'm going to hunker down for a bit, have some soup (which is ready now, y'all), and rest up. I'll make another trip out in about an hours time. In case you're wondering, the Zigzagoon are doing okay. They're kind of sluggish, but they seem alright otherwise. The lotads are in a little worse condition, they're all covered in ice and frozen. But they're alive and it's not like I haven't dealt with frozen pokemon at the Cabin before, so I think they'll be okay ultimately.
