“If the account given in Genesis is really true, ought we not, after all, to thank this serpent? He was the first schoolmaster, the first advocate of learning, the first enemy of ignorance, the first to whisper in human ears the sacred word liberty, the creator of ambition, the author of modesty, of inquiry, of doubt, of investigation, of progress and of civilization.”
~ Robert Green Ingersoll

8 years old Ann Marie Burr disappeared from her Tacoma home on August 31, 1961. To this day, the 2 more likely suspects are still Robert Bruzas, who was 17 years old at the time of the disappearance and Ralph Everett Larkee, who committed suicide after the FBI showed up at his door.
The case grew cold until Ann Rule started to link Ted Bundy to the disappearance without any evidence. She made connections that didn’t exist and the whole story grew out of proportions. The only real connection here is that they lived in the same town at the same time.
DNA evidence failed to link Ted to Ann Marie.
Ted was only 14 years old at the time of her disappearance. He would have walked or ride his bike 3 miles at night, found right away Ann Marie’s room, entered without a noise and made her disappear into thin air.
Contrary to the many rumors, he did lived 3 miles away from the Burr home and his paper route was not on this side of the town.
Beverly Burr (Ann Marie’s mother) does not believe Ted Bundy kidnapped and murdered her daughter.
Ann Marie did not take piano lessons close to Ted’s Uncle house.
Beverly Burr does not recall seeing Ted Bundy delivering their paper.
She likes the same suspect (Robert Bruzas) that investigating officer Tony Zatkovich liked in 1961. She thought he was strange and had an unusual interest in Ann Marie.
Ted vehemently denied killing her and it’s not the first time he was wrongfully accused of killing someone until a DNA test proved them wrong (Katherine Devine for example).

RPPC, Madame Suritha, The Tattooed Lady
My Google search didn’t turn up much on this lovely ornamented lady, save for a 1914 ad in a New Zealand newspaper broadcasting Madame Suritha’s world tour. The ad described her as “the most beautiful tattooed woman” and the ONLY one to be inked in eight colors!
