People who truly love us can be divided into two categories: those who understand us, and those who forgive us our worst sins. Rarely do you find someone capable of both.
Jonathan Carroll (via infamoussayings)
And there's another Venn diagram in the making to pierce my heart without my permission.
“Dogs are minor angels, and I don’t mean that facetiously. They love unconditionally, forgive immediately, are the truest of friends, willing to do anything that makes us happy.”

To My Angels in Fur Pants: Thank You.

If you want to be rude, find a mirror and talk to the reflection. Chances are they’re the only one who wants to hear what you have to say.

My memory loves you… it asks about you all the time.

First off, this is an extremely useful image for anyone interested in the actual constellations associated with each sign. I want to credit allthesky.com for the beautiful image.I hope all of you have a cute little camp fire together and try to find your signs together.
Second, I wouldn’t feel happy leaving you with this content unless I made fun of it a little bit. After all, we’re a mock-astrology blog! We’re here for laughs and that is all :)
Things I want to point out about the constellations:
Sagittarius, what the absolute fuck are you doing up there
Libra you are a house
Gemini, I know we’re thinking the same thing about the shape of your constellation. Don’t worry, I laughed too.
Leo. You are a coat hanger.
Pisces is too innocent to understand the familiar shape of their constellation so I will remain quiet
That is all.

I concur; what the absolute fuck is Sagittarius doing up there?
Ah but you see, there are two *kinds* of asshole—the classically trained, lousy youth/resent everything and everyone/ happy-to-fuck-up–your- day-because-all-my-days- are- shit kind. Then you have the rarer but far more dangerous naturally talented assholes who needed no training at all to be awful from the very first day of their lives. They popped out of their mothers annoying and they never stopped.

#2 is a scary SOB I know far too well.
When I taught grad psychopathology, Ed Jingle (his pseudonym, natch) sketched this oh-so flattering portrait of me. Probably shortly after I told everyone to take their "sit-the-fuck-down-and-pay-fucking-attention" meds. Right the fuck now.
How I feel when I go through the airport. Witness them in Sky Harbor chillaxin… it’s enough for a television pilot.
True this.
I have noticed that when all the lights are on, people tend to talk about what they are doing – their outer lives. Sitting round in candlelight or firelight, people start to talk about how they are feeling – their inner lives. They speak subjectively, they argue less, there are longer pauses. To sit alone without any electric light is curiously creative. I have my best ideas at dawn or at nightfall, but not if I switch on the lights – then I start thinking about projects, deadlines, demands, and the shadows and shapes of the house become objects, not suggestions, things that need to done, not a background to thought.

My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that, and I intend to end up there.

Churches are good for prayer, but so are garages and cars and mountains and showers and dance floors.
