2nd Day: from Verona till Ganges

We started quite early after an Italian breakfast close to Verona and then we travelled through Liguria till Nice along the way with beautiful landscape like big valleys, terracotta houses and snowy mountains.

When we entered France it was breathtakingly beautiful along the seaside and the view too :-)

We stopped in Eze and then in Nice where we met some friends who has holiday there (and actually the lady from the couple just happened to play a freshly awarded Cannes movie: The Day)

After that visiting we continued our journey till Ganges where we stayed at John Thackara’shouse. We met his partner, Kristi and their dog, Rita.

It was such a pleasure to meet finally John whose work is extremely interesting if you are iterested in social innovation and I also had a fantastic conversation with Kristi about art hidtory education and her journey to Transylvania. She is a super cool woman so I was over the moon I met this couple in South France.

We are at Brotfabrik!

The Vienna Design Week has been just started and we are here every day from 10 am till 7 PM so you can come and speak about the project with us!

There is also a book and the fantastic poster which can be see and buy so it’s totally worth to come :-)

We’ve worked on the cookbook which is already on the way to come out! It contains the recipes from the cooking sessions’ participants (who came from Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Palestine, Russia, Syria and Somalia)  and data visualizations about the recent migration of Vienna.

Next week at @ViennaDesignWeek you can have your own piece! It’s a limited edition!
