âšpretty and gayâš
I like to pretend Iâm tough and blasĂ©, but really I just wanna take selfies like the ones below.
Dr. Harleen Quinzel and Dr. Pamela Isley, more commonly known as Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, are seen here in bi pride colors. Though they are more known for causing havoc in Gotham they were reported as saving two young bisexual women from being attacked.
hey guess what?
there are some bisexual women who arenât even attracted to men.
no theyâre not lesbians. they are attracted to women and nb people.
whattya know?
i love referring to myself as âbi as hell,â âiâm so fucking bi,â etc bc you always hear âat least biâ as if you can only be a certain level of bi before level up into gay and im not about that life.Â
@ bi women who arenât into men: i love you and iâm sorry that your beautiful existence makes everyone so angry
sending love to bi ladies in relationships with cis men. youâre not any less âqueerâ. you shouldnât have to justify your identity at every turn.
Protect biromantic homosexuals at all costs.
Heart eyes at myself! ^_____^
Hey! This is link to the kickstarter for my short film Uprising, which is the creative complement to my written thesis about representation of race in science fiction and fantasy movies.Â
Cool things about Uprising
1) Features two WOC lead characters!
2) Those characters are also lesbians!
3) Definitely passes the Bechdel test!
4) Covers themes like racism and oppression!
5) Also has necromancers! WHOO FANTASY GENRE WITH POCs!

Hi! I was wondering if you had any recommendations for books with a bisexual POC? I've yet to find any yet, thanks!
We have some! Â Not as many as weâd wish for, but still here are a few good choices:
If youâre looking for a literary fiction coming of age story about a Egyptian girl moving to America, go with A Map of Home by Rhanda Jarrar
If youâd like a semi-autobiographical experimental punk novella of vignettes, try Corona by Bushra Rehman.
If you like fantasy series with multiple POC queer women including lesbian and bisexual women, try Shira Glassmanâs The Second Mango (first of three). Â
If youâd like a coming out YA romance with a bisexual Mexican boy in a multi-racial group cast, try Boyfriends with Girlfriends by Alex Sanchez.
If you like YA novels, magic, and sexy bisexual Indonesian warlocks, try The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan and Maureen Johnson. Â
If you want a steampunk romance with a black bisexual man in the lead, try Prosperity by Alexis Hall. Â
If you want to read a black bisexual woman talking about her life, politics, feminism, and history, go with Some of Us Did NOT Die: New and Selected Essays by June Jordan
If you like grotesque art and memoir graphic novels about growing up Cuban in the 90âs, try Spit and Passion by Christy R. Road.
If youâre looking for a more in-depth memoir about growing up Latina between Mexico and California, Iâd try Barriers to Love by Marina Peralta.
If you want a truly intersectional look at bisexuality and feminism, go with Bi Notes For A Bisexual Revolution by Shiri Eisner
If you want a memoir of a powerful bisexual black man in media discussing his difficult and abusive childhood, go with Fire Shut Up In My Bones by Charles Blow. Â
For more articles, books, poems, and perspectives on the intersection of bisexuality and POC, browse our POC tag.  Other bisexual POC writers include Roxane Gay, Samantha Irby, Margaret Cho, James Baldwin, and Dr. Herukhuti.
Happy reading!

My trio of sexuality whales are complete! All are now available on my redbubble in the sexuality whales collection.
Bisexual power couple, Asami Sato and Avatar Korra, are guests at the Varrick-Zhu Li wedding.
They call him Jack. Samurai Jack. Samur-bi Jack. (No one calls him that, that was terrible).
Shoutout to commanderabutt, previously ghostofabuttspast, for giving me a lovely opportunity to prove what a lying asshole he is.
He claimed that heâs on my blocklist because I block everyone who criticizes me. [x]
Absolute bullshit. I blocked him almost exactly a year ago for harassing me because Iâve chosen to not date men. The only people I ever block are people who harass me. [x]
He completely denied that this happened - âof all the things that didnât happen, this didnât happen the most. do I even have MRA followers? I thought mras hate me nowâ [x]
Wow yep totally didnât happen and all of this bullshit from his followers didnât happen either. Of course, it doesnât matter that Iâve provided links, because now heâll just deny that this was harassment. Donât you know itâs totally okay to attack women who witness examples of men abusing romantic partners and sexually harassing women on dating sites (the two posts I reblogged prior to writing that one) and then express relief that they have the choice to not date men? Remember kids, venting about your oppressors is reverse oppression.
Pretty much every time heâs reblogged a post from me Iâve immediately been harassed by MRAs. But please, go on about how they donât follow you or like you.
In fact, just for fun - hereâs a proud MRA who follows commanderabutt saying how much he likes his blog and how he doesnât understand why any MRAs wouldnât like him, and hereâs commanderabutt being complimented for being a great anti-feminist (he rejected the label but accepted the compliment). He straight up said that itâs possible to be sexist against men, so he can dance around the âanti-feministâ and âMRAâ labels but his values and the kind of people agreeing with him say otherwise.
And just to be clear, if Iâve blocked you, then reblogging from me, posting about me in the tags, and tagging me in posts is harassment.
Please stop falling for his âIâm a good bi man who wants to help but the big olâ meanie queeravenger doesnât WANT my helpâ bullshit. Heâs a manipulative misogynist who spotted an opportunity to distort the narrative in his favor and heâs harassing people (not just me) and lying to do it.
