Infrared photography still gives me a lot of fun...
Usual view from the window becomes more unusual in infrared....
My first Infrared photo. This picture was taken in full sunlight, without a single cloud on the sky. More pics coming soon.
Love this place!
Absolutely legendary Trading House “Universam Grochów” demolished, now it’s nothing but a pile of debris. It was an icon of one of Warsaw’s district - Praga Południe/Grochów, a place with a long history and close to hearts of many people. It was build in 1977 and was one of the largest and had one of the best assortment in a communistic Poland. Now it’s demolished and will be replaced by a modern skyscraper, it’s a sad thing that in Poland there is some kind of obsession about getting rid of places/buildings etc that where build in a communism era. However the ghost of this place will live as long as people will remember it.

Ischl tower in a full moon light
Few months ago quite accidentally I’ve captured a few lightnings during the storm. I used Xperia Z1 mobile phone so maybe the quality isn’t extremely high but it’s good enough to show some “action in the sky”

A mysterious movie, a mysterious place
Recently there is a big thing going on the internet. It’s all because of a creepy video clip posted by unknown person called AETBX. If you’re not familiar with this clip , you can watch it here
Today I’ve visited a place where the video was filmed, together with my old friend Szary Burek we went there after somebody on the internet discovered that this movie was shot in a room of the abandoned sanitarium, the entire facility is currently ruined, basically all of the interiors are empty, full of debris and different kind of junk
The entire room does not differ from other rooms in the facility. The only thing that distinguish this place are these specific marks on the wall between window holes.
An abandoned tenement house of Wolf Krongold in Warsaw
built in the years 1896-1899 in Warsaw’s Wola, designed by Bronislaw Brochwicz-Rogoyskiego. Due to the number of people living in it was called Beijing. in the beginning it was richly decorated. Attic of the building was decorated with sculptures of half-naked old man with a long beard and a muscular young man who symbolized the fact that the house was founded in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Among them was placed a year uprising. Attica (also destroyed) is one of the few surviving decorations of the building. Apartments located on the lower floors were for the better-off residents were larger and better equipped and have a separate, decorated with marble staircase. Apartments on the upper floors were smaller, entered to them by ordinary staircase with oak stairs. After the war front building had significant damage, outbuildings preserved in very good condition. The building was rebuilt, but with the front facade beaten all the details and decorating, retaining only the attic. In the ‘60s balconies were removed and a decorated iron gate.
In 2003, residents were evicted from the building.
