Busy week... the kids came and brought the babies, Paul had his surgery, we visited the Montessori influenced ABA program Izzy will attend this summer, we went to a meet up with the other Autism Moms at the Splash Pad we had some movement on our paperwork and now we are relaxing (Paul is recovering) and getting ready for next week. Izzy performed in her school musical tonight. It was super cute! I will say our super tall, platinum blonde child with sunglasses and a baby shark dress really stood out. She must be the tallest kid in her class. It’s exciting and happy but sad at the same time. The slideshow at the start nearly did me in. I wished Gabby were here, she’d have been super excited to see it (and she was always a ham performer- so I can only imagine her in a school musical/play). The teachers must all be drinking tonight after the craziness of the event. We are expecting serious fallout after today (the bus left Izzy & 4 others at school) then the noise, lights and change in schedule at the event, not to mention all the flash photography. Izzy was thrilled with her rainbow skort today, she wanted Elsa hair .. This week for meal prep I did 6 packs of sausages & 8 pounds of bacon, I tried making keto cinnamon rolls (but they need some work) tonight I made crispy Parmesan crusted chicken and that was a hit.
