alright, so in lieu of the ongoing pandemic, it’s time to bring back some timeless clothing styles to Fit the Mood

1. lacy extravagant 1900s nightgowns as day wear

dramatic. silky. romantic. cleavage OUT for new civil consciousness post-crisis and also seducing any lingering swashbuckling ghosts that might be Into That.

2. 90s Cyber Punk

tacky. brightly colored. the government is still watching us, but now we’re stuck in our homes looking fresh as hell, time to put on our duck masks and evade identification

3. straight-up historical plague masks

it’s the time and the place to bring this BACK, not only is your face covered but you get to look like a scary bird that walks the streets to reminds those in power that death stalks them at every turn as well and the people will not be complacent in their own destruction.

anyway, that’s the New Mood, happy new era everyone!

just saw bindi irwin got engaged and apparently her fiance is american. she’s 21 and they’ve been dating for 6 years. I wonder if his family lives in aus/works in conservation because imagine just being a random 15-year-old tourist at the zoo and having a meet cute with steve irwin’s daughter lol

apparently that’s exactly how they met. bindi just happened to be giving tours the day his family visited. love is unreal. how is this not a teen romcom yet

It gets better. Terri is also American and met Steve Irwin the same way, by chance at the Australia Zoo, in 1991. Terri was devastated when he immediately offered to introduce her to his girlfriend Sue, until Steve called Sue over and a dog came bounding up.

Multi-generational love at first sight.

My favorite part of the story of how Steve and Terri met is that it was literally love at first sight. He saw her in a crowd and froze. Which was a bad thing, because he was sort of wrestling a crocodile at the time.

Actual unicorns were most likely based on an extinct megafauna form of horse-like rhino called elasmotherium. Giant horse with a lance on its head. It wouldn’t just impale you it would rip your torso from your pelvis and trample everything to paste.
