It seems that he had been right, at least, that she would inherit all the enemies of the Mikaelson family and yet she welcomes them to come and try to take from her again. Lately it seemed as if more and more people were coming for her as the rumors of her existence spread as truths. “I’m sure my Aunts have said it a time or two,” Hope responds with a shrug. “Are you here to give me the same warning or was there something else more important?” 

“I try not to make a habit out of lecturing to deaf ears,” Nate answer cheeky, in truth he came because he was curious. He may be a witch no longer, but that did not mean he didn’t keep in touch. These days, Hope Mikaelson was the center of some rather interesting gossip in the cauldron. “Maybe I just wanted to see the almighty tribrid for myself?” He teased, the corner of his lips tugged upward for a moment. “I wanted see if you measured up to the rumors.”

He gave her a cautious glance, not entirely believing her . . .  but what choice did the vampire have other than to trust? Nate swallowed, shifting his eyes away from her wrist. He’s hungry, so hungry and having even a sip of blood would speed up the process but he does not trust himself to lose control. If he hurt Davina he would never forgive himself. (More importantly, Marcel would never forgive him either; and he needs more allies than enemies these days). “If you want to help me you can leave,” Nate rasped nodding his head toward the door she entered from. “I’ll heal on my own, I just need time.”
