another thought about The Kiss ™️: the first one is about alec coming out like obviously it’s him wanting to kiss magnus and telling magnus to stay and that’s he’s choosing to follow his heart but it’s more his way of telling his parents and his family (and the world) who he is rather than saying “i’m gay”

but the second one after the pause !!!!! you can see it in his eyes during the break and in the way that the kiss is deeper and harder but slower and more feelings !!! than the first one this one is about magnus and alec being intoxicated by him and now that he’s got a taste of magnus he wants more and

Sam! Let's not talk about how in the AU, Alec actively ogles and pursues Magnus while Magnus is as skittish as his hologram cats. Let's not talk about how Alec watches him walk away and tells himself he's ready to WORK FOR IT. Let's not talk about how in the AU, Malec would be out and proud; holding hands, and going to dates in the park. Or inviting Magnus over to watch movies with his nerdy sister while Alec plans Magnus' surprise birthday/proposal party. In THIS AU, Alec would propose SO HARD

we absolutely can’t talk about how chairman adores alec from the very first time he sets foot in magnus’ loft. but what rankles magnus about the whole thing is how loving church is with alec too. magnus wants to be the one rubbing his face all over alec and getting scratches behind the ears, and he has to fight for that attention but alec always gives it to him with a sly, confident smile and dirty, dirty promises of the other ways he can scratch magnus’ itch. it all makes magnus blush head to toe.

or how alec thought his life was perfect before magnus, but eveything is just clearer and more alive when he’s with magnus. he’s always hoped to find someone who loves his family as much as he does, and magnus and izzy are nearly inseparable and magnus and max spend hours pouring over comic books and his life is just more than he could have ever imagined. he smiles and he feels his joy in his bones.

and let’s definitely not talk about when they’ve been together for six months and magnus decides it’s time to tell alec about him being a warlock–because it’s now an important piece of him that clary helped bring back to life. and alec takes it all in stride because he’s just so composed and sure of himself about absolutely everything, then magnus explains that alec has angel blood in his veins and they find an ancient stele and magnus teaches alec how to draw a stamina rune, and magnus sees alec’s control get completely wrecked when they test it out the first time. alec has never looked so desperate with that rune burning away on his skin and magnus’ magic sparking everywhere he touches…
