Why does nobody talk about norton's official English VA being (potentially) Jeff gritton?
He's in the voicecast page on the idv wiki, which took the info from idv's IMDb page.
And tbh.. I BELIEVE IT. I checked his voice demos and portfolios, it really seems to be him!
Although it can be hard to tell since he doesn't seem to have a lot of character voicing on his page it's all like movie trailers or promos that he voices for.
It's kinda surprising how they even found him to do norton's voice in the first place

Spring, spring, spring.. might be one of my favorite seasons ever if autumn didn't exist.
Okay I'm just list some activities I found online
Rock painting
-At first he wasn't too interested.
-I mean it's just rocks, and not the valuable kind.
-but after a while.... well I suppose it's still not that interesting.
-But hey! He does cherish the time he spends with you, so I guess painting a couple rocks together ain't so bad.
Picking wildflowers
-Originally does so to gift them to you.
-But then, you start weaving the flowers together..
-..To make a flower crown!
-His interest is somewhat piqued, weaving as a skill can come in handy later
-While he thinks and plots, you plant the flower crown on top of his head!
-Ok now he has to do it.

-Picnics are probably what comes to your mind when you think of spring time activities.
-So! You're probably gonna be doing most of the planning. (Unless... Norton wants to surprise you for a special occasion)
-He likes the outdoors, food and just having a relaxing time together.
-Which makes this the best activity to do with Norton in spring.
-Plus, you can do all the other activities listed above during your picnic!

Btw in my oc x canon plotline Dulcamara beats up both Norton and Orpheus to near death and only keeps them alive bc 1 she has a crush on Norton and she can't help it 2 she respects Alice's wishes.
They also have to slowly recover from the beating in excruciating pain (especially Norton even though she can heal him with magic) if they got the guts to do heinous shit they better have the guts that can be punched in and pay for their actions
Lowkey Frederick feels like a side character genuinely what does he do but if he's in the vicinity of Dulcamara he would get his ass beat aswell

Hear me out- Fan Norton, idol Dulcamara.
I feel like we have seen instances of Norton being an idol so I wanted to switch it up. (Bird of prey, dazzling lone wolf, sound waves merch line..) WE HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE LOVING HIM SO LETS MAKE HIM THE LOVER NOW.
-Also this is modern world (kinda) since that's the time period of tamons b side
-Norton has asthma and works 2 jobs: fast food worker and house keeping.
-His scar comes from an accident with the deep fryer at the restaurant he works in
-He doesn't buy merch bc:
1 He needs the money to survive
2 He keeps his fave a secret
-But he does have photos of her printed out and handmade can badges tucked away in his room
-Has 1 piece of original merch being a Dulcamara plushie he has on his bed (Dulcamara herself gifted it to him)
-Lives with a roommate (prob naib idk)
-Dulcamara is his fave because she feels the most genuine out of the other girls in the group and he likes her cuteness plus she has motivated him to keep going at his darkest times
-He's also nonsharing of Dulcamara and his fantasies of her include just Dulcamara quitting her job and Norton gets to take care of her like she's a rescue
-But he wouldn't make her quit since he also wants Dulcamara to be happy and follow her dreams (but if she did quit he wouldn't be that upset....)
-He's a bit shy though since Dulcamara's fans are mostly girls and (rare but real) creepy men and he doesn't wanna seem like a creep
-He has threatened other people online for saying negative and or creepy things about Dulcamara

-That's partially why I wanted her to be the idol here since they have a lot of similarities especially since this is modern version of Dulcamara
-Did I mention she also can't help herself? She's so busy thinking about others she never takes care of herself like at all (she is the same in the canon btw).
-She's also really bad at house chores, despite wanting to be better and cleaner she never seems to succeed.
-That's why she hired housekeeping to clean her apartment.
-This au follows the main storyline of tamon's b side with a few tweaks and changes because of the new character roster I put in place

-Norton may not seem like the type, but he actually does care about organizing the environment he lives in. He just wasn't able to find the time or the energy to do so in the past.
-Really good at finances, manages all the income and spendings of the house.
-He knows how to get goods for cheap and insists on doing all the shopping because he won't be satisfied with buying products for a higher price.
-Can either provide income or be a house husband depending on what you wanna do. Either way work is work for him.
-He wouldn't like not doing anything because he always feels like he has to be useful somehow to deserve being with you.
-If he's a house husband dusting is one of the only chores he just CANNNOOT do, irritates his lungs.
-He might not be able to cook special cuisine but he is very good at making everyday bland dishes. He has been making them for so long that he couldn't help but improve his methods.
-To add on to that cheap ingredients were all he worked with so he generally wouldn't know what to do with something expensive and niche like goose liver.
-If he is providing income he might come home really late and very tired, hoping to get some attention and comfort from you.
-Attention as in physical touch or just existing in the same room together. Wouldn't really want to chat if he is exhausted but might go on a rant if something really gets on his nerves.
-In his free time he would like to play simple but fun games together, like his golden cave board game.
-If he's a house husband he would pick up reading educational books as a hobby. It's hard for him to have this hobby if he is providing income with a difficult and tiring job.
What else hmmmm I've been really strict to canon so far so maybe I'll throw in something that strays from it a little bit.
-Might find world travel fun and if you have the income (it's not fun to travel if u broke) would make plans to travel with you.

Despite his circumstances, Norton is actually average when it comes to hygiene and tends to complain about being dirty because he cares about it.

After a traumatizing experience, Norton was left rather stunned and unable to process what went down.
It was thanks to a certain witch that he was dragged away from the whole thing.
They were hiking out of the mountain as the sun slowly started to sink down, night was approaching.
The witch noticing this, immediately took action.

The prospector (who was really exhausted at this point) just nodded his head and sat on a conveniently shaped rock nearby.
While Norton rested, Dulcamara effortlessly set up her tent as she had done this many times before.
As the moon started to rise, the former miner's stomach grumbled (very very loudly).
Dulcamara or Dulci for short (because her name is too long for Norton), obviously hearing this gasped lightly.

The prospector caught off guard, loses his balance and falls to the floor.
Before he could say anything in rebuttle, the witch quickly sets up a campfire and prepares a tiny pot with a rather strange combination of ingredients.
Norton doesn't really trust Dulcamara's cooking skills if he is honest but he doesn't tell her that.
When the stew is ready, Dulci pours it into a bowl for Norton to eat and hands it to him.
The former miner stares at the "stew".
The "stew" stares back.
He looks up at Dulci, who's watching him with anticipation.
He hesitantly sips it..

And he was telling the truth.
Sure it wasn't the tastiest thing in the world but it was edible.
Yet even that slight compliment, made the witch's eyes light up like a starry sky.

Norton gulps the stew in one go and heads inside the tent.

Inside the tent, the prospector notices there's only one sleeping bag.

Nonetheless, Norton cozies up in the bag and INSTANTLY dozes off.

Time passes, he wakes up.
The campfire now put out, the tent is rather dark.
He gets up to look around for Dulcamara, she isn't in the tent.
Norton hears a high pitched hum outside, must be her.
Did she ever go in the tent at all?
Dulcamara stares up at the night sky that's slightly blocked off by trees.
Lost in thought she hums to herself, the song unrecognizable.
The stars shimmer beautifully, it's reflection visible in her eyes.
One of the starts however, flashes by in a line.
Not that Norton can see any of this.
The witch is fascinated by the shooting star's glow, as it passes she whispers a wish.

Mr. Norton is frozen in place when he hears her wish.

Quietly, the witch lays down next to the prospector.
A moment of silence passes, a sign Dulci has fallen asleep.

-To be honest I don't think norton is very mean to people of lower class, clearly been thru hell and disabled people.
-It's just like what alice says, his hatred is reserved for the rich.
-But he will be cold towards you at the start no matter what.
-Don't lovebomb him at the start because he will short-circuit
-The best way to get closer to him is slow and consistent hangouts.
-Nothing much, just being together with him routinely is enough for him to like you (secretly).
-Yes he has a hard time showing affection back
-But he will yap your head off once you are close enough.
-If you have been showing him affection thru other means than quality time (gift giving, physical touch etc.) He will learn how to do the same from you.
-Has a really low opinion of himself like REALLLYY LOW
-if u show him affection he might not accept it fully because of this.
-But would politely thank you anyways.
-He's never seen real kindness before, he acts polite to hide how broken he is.

-Cold weather never really affects her since her soul burns hot all the time.
-Because Norton isn't like that he has a hard time enjoying winter but Dulcamara will change that!
-First, winter clothing. Dulcamara mayyy not be super skilled at crocheting but she can make a scarf and sweater for him.
-Second, hot chocolate. It's rather difficult to get your hands on one if you're broke like these two but Dulcamara has a little trick up her sleeve called being a traveler. (Not really a trick ok)
-Dulcamara is skilled at baking and travels all around the world. (And lives in a tent because shes too broke for hotels) To keep baking she has to scavenge for ingredients wherever she goes.
-SOOOO she does have the cocoa to make hot chocolate, even if it'sssss kinda hard without a proper kitchen.
-It can be really troublesome to keep traveling during the cold seasons so Norton and Dulcamara attempt to get cozy in their tent.
-There they are in a tent, covering themselves in their blanket, with hot chocolate in their hands and Norton wearing an extremely cutesy scarf and sweater Dulcamara made for him.
-This might not be the life Norton imagined, but it certainly isn't that bad either.
-Maybe winter isn't so bad afterall. As long as you have somebody by your side.

In reality, people can't tolerate her. She's annoying and unrealistic they say. Like come on have you ever met someone with this type of personality in real life? (probably idk hold on im trying to make a point here) Someone that's full of energy ALL THE TIME? also who talks like that..
Dulcamara has no friends, people don't care about her other than the fact that she helps them.
Dulcamara is not respected, they can't take her efforts seriously.
Except for the little kids that cry their heart out, begging for someone to come and save them. They beg for a miracle to happen.
Dulcamara wants to be that miracle, in a world where people don't believe in miracles.
Dulcamara wants to be the hero she always begged would come save her when she was helpless.

We kinda had this during the live action for fools gold
Which makes me wonder... since fool's gold is considered norton's unfiltered version would he also cry? Just imagine him bawling his eyes out while whining at you after a rough match or a slight inconvenience.
Fugo may be powerful but still there's gonna be things out of his control.
For example his body, the fact that he's stuck in the manor forever (it might be fun during matches but you can't deny the fact that he's trapped there just like the survivors), having little to no option to do anything else but hunt.
