URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION Purchased from Sephora stores. PROS: 1. By far the best blend which ensures eye make up doesn’t move/smudge throughout the day. A small swatch on each eyelid is enough to do the job. 2. Took me more than a year to finish my very first tube, that’s kind of a really good investment huh! CONS: 1. Product dries up rather quickly which may be a good thing when applied on the eyelids but not so for those remaining in the tube. Residue around the opening cakes up fast. 2. (Greatest pet peeve!) Durability of the packaging is really bad. - The very first tube I got was the old packaging which comes in a tube and a twist cap. To get the primer out, all you have to do is to squeeze a pea size out of the tube. Simple. BUT as I’ve mentioned the primer tends to dry up pretty fast, that means whatever remains within the tube will eventually dry up over time. And it takes quite a bit of strength to really squeeze them out. - Second tube bought came in a similar shaped tube but a cap with a brush attached. Initially I thought that will make my life so much easier, they did a wise thing to introduce a brush. To my horror, the clear casing of the cap started cracking after less than 2 weeks of usage. Eventually the clear casing broke off and the purple cap started cracking as well and eventually gave way. As you can see from the picture with the bits of the broken purple cap. I’m only left with the brush itself. And reckon given that the tube can’t be concealed properly now, primer within the tube will eventually dry up quicker than normal. This is really a failed packaging. Urban Decay really needs to figure something out about this. YAY / NAY : Overall, the primer itself works well. But the packaging is really a pain. Will highly recommend this eye primer if you’re fine with the cap disintegrating eventually.
