(( Sorry for not really being online and active recently. Life’s… life. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on right now, and I’m too overwhelmed to write as of right now. I’ll be back, but for now, all of my blogs are probably going to be on a semi-hiatus until things blow over. ))

As Vi spoke, a lop-sided smirk pulled at the right corner of her mouth, forcing her to pull the cup from her lip. Placing it gently against the porcelain saucer with a soft clink, her hands lowering into her lap. It was very entertaining albeit unusual to see Vi in such a state of emotion. Seeing “her” in any state of emotion was unusual, but this was a spectacle to behold.
“Marvelous…” She muttered under her breath, watching as her “daughter” tried to steady and calm their self. Elizabeth knew just how Vi felt about War and the motive behind the venomous hatred that lived within them. Something so deadly to hold within one’s own self. After all, it would only serve to sink it’s claws into wholeness and leave it hollow.
“Simply marvelous outburst of emotion from you, Vi. However, I warn you that this will not end with his blood on your hands.”
Once they were calm and steady, Vi looked over at Eliza with eyes slightly widened and brows quirked. Her words piqued their interest, puzzling the tiny horseman and causing them to respond with their head tilted to one side.
“It won’t end with his blood on my hands?” they echoed, choosing to pay the subject of killing War more attention than the subject of their growing variety of emotional outbursts. What did she mean by that? Come to think of it, Famine had said something similar when they were informed of Pestilence’s violent intentions. Why did everyone around Pestilence seem to know how this was going to end when the redhead did not? It was impossible for every being they associated with to have the power of prophecy.
“Why will it not end with his blood on my hands? I do not understand your statement. Is this a riddle of some fashion?”

Icy eyes followed the short travel of their hand from their face to the table with the mask in tow. The mask itself had never once bothered Elizabeth, even when first meeting Vi. It had seemed odd and out of place, but had never truly stuck any feeling of dread.
Not until “she” called her ‘Mother’.
“That explains the petulant mood.” Elizabeth spoke, leaned forward to pluck her teacup and saucer from the glass-top before them. Dealing with Vi always required a certain amount of her favorite tea. It was the only way to keep a level head around one so often aloof in their responses.
“Exactly what do you plan on doing then, puișor.”
“Hahaha! I’ll TORTURE him, of course! Not only will I take his horse... Oh, no! I’m going to BEAT him to a bloody pulp! Horse? GONE! Bones? GONE! Soul? SHATTERED! FUCK those damn rules! I’ll kill War with my own hands. Death can take a long walk off a short pier since he thinks he can stop me from getting my revenge.”
Vi’s malicious cackle echoed through the room. It was certainly a rare sight; to see Pestilence show any kind of emotion, especially to such an extreme extent, was almost unheard of. Perhaps only one other person had seen something like this-- aside from Vi’s siblings, of course --and that person was Thomas.
As their laughter faded, the horseman put one hand to their head and gripped their seat with the other. They felt dizzy and out of breath after that outburst, and they deemed it necessary to calm down and rest for a few minutes.

“HELL no! you threw that damn thing at my head and then LAUGHED about it! Fuck you if you think I’m paying for a damn thing of yours!” Grimm didn’t care who or WHAT this kid was. not only did they injure him but they insulted him as well. and then this kid has the nerve to tell Grimm to pay for their stupid mask afterwards? not happening!
For an instant, the petite horseman’s form seemed to flicker. It was like a glitch in the fabric of reality. The short, red-haired child was temporarily replaced with a more menacing, almost incomprehensible and amorphous creature of shadow. The figure blurred and doubled-- no, TRIPLED! --before merging back into one image. Burning red eyes bore holes into Grimm for what felt like eons. Danger radiated from the beast, and just a glance could send shivers down your spine and fill you to the brim with a sense of dread. If one were to stare into the inky void that could be classified as the monster’s body, one could catch glimpses of a future soon to come. A future flooded with death and misfortune; the end of times.
But the encounter-- fortunately for everyone --did not last long. Pestilence’s original body soon returned, their pale skin and red hair bringing a sense of relief with them.
“So be it.” Their words still held venom though their face had reverted to its icy resting expression. A huff escaped them as they turned and moved closer to their horse, likely planning to mount him and leave.

To any normal person, it wouldn’t be a cause for concern that the child responded with a word instead of remaining silent and gesturing to get their point across. However, to anyone who actually knew Vi, it was disconcerting to see them speak with someone they had just met. It was quite possible the horseman was planning something sinister! But again, a stranger wouldn’t be aware of any of this.
---In this reality, the truth would be that Vi was vocal simply because they were rather fond of their mask and felt that a non-verbal answer would lack the proper force they wished to have behind their reply. This was because they were used to not speaking and considered talking to be an act reserved for only the most important of statements... or for the most wrathful. Why did this person want their mask, anyway? What would he gain from having it? This puzzled Pestilence, causing them to cock their head to the side.

ooohohoho that does it. Grimm picks up the pot the stranger threw at him and hurls it right back, aiming for their face! he puts every ounce of strength he has into the throw, enough that it would kill any normal human and severely injure most normal monsters.
The force behind Grimm’s throw is enough to shatter the mask right off Vi’s face. It’s unclear to anyone watching if they were actually hurt by the pot, but they are quick to put a hand to their face as if in pain. When their hand lowers, a sour expression is revealed alongside a large red mark that will likely bruise later on.
“You broke it,” they say-- yes, that’s right; the odd child finally speaks --in a low tone. Well, really, it’s more like a hiss. A distorted hiss that would make most people question if the kid is even human... if the incident with the pot didn’t already make them do so, that is. “Pay for it.”

Having silence within the room was no so uncommon when it came to Vi, but the aura that exuded from the being sitting in front of her told Elizabeth that her “daughter” was in a rather nefarious mood. It wasn’t hard to understand Vi once one had learned the subtle body language of “her” and muted change in the mask they wore.
Sighing softly, Elizabeth brought a hand to the bridge of her nose, smoothing away the wrinkled brow before speaking clearly, voice harshly cutting through the silence.
“Vi, if you intend to seethe, do so in another room. If that does not suit your intentions, then explain to me why.”
There was a huff and the thud of Vi’s ceramic mask softly hitting the glass table. The horseman saw no point in wearing anything to hide their face when Elizabeth was around as it did not have the desired effect of scaring her. Rather, she seemed to remain unaffected completely! It somewhat irked the child. Or was that simply their anger from prior events spilling over ever-so-slightly?
“I saw him today,” Vi growled, arms crossed and fingers digging into the sleeves of their striped suit. “That bastard will learn to fear my name, I swear it! He may walk free for now, but I will not rest until he is left in ruins. His horse will be my prey, and his mind will break under my wrath.”
Though they were known for their silence (and often thought to be mute by strangers), they were certainly full of words when it came to the imminent downfall of their elder sibling.

“What? Cat got your tongue or something? if you got something you want to say to me then say it! otherwise you can go take a hike! whoever this guy was, they just made Grimm’s IMMEDIATE shit list! in the meantime Grimm’s just gonna hold his head for the moment….that pot really hurt!
Their only audible reply is a soft giggle. One would probably think it innocent if it weren’t for the current situation. Are they laughing at his pain? Yes. They’re making that-- and their intention of staying --fairly apparent.

Oh boy. Children waving while not making any noise is scary enough on its own, but doing that while also wearing a creepy mask that makes their face entirely unreadable…? Rias is 100% sure she’s getting pranked by that movie making class again.
Still, just in case, she just keeps smiling and waves back. “Ah… Is there something you needed…?”
Once more, there is no verbal response. The smaller of the two simply steps closer and tugs on the woman’s sleeve, pointing towards a tiny garden that seems to rest out of sight for most people. Truly, Rias likely never would have never even noticed it if the kid hadn’t pointed it out.. or unless she tripped and fell into it.
The garden, though soil tilled, is lacking in plants save for one petite sprout of peppermint. Perhaps the masked child is asking where they can obtain more plants?

BEHOLD! A terrifying presence in the shape of a child with an eerie mask. Still just as creepy as when they appeared-- though that isn’t surprising when one considers that the child only just arrived a few minutes ago. They give the woman a small wave, but make no effort to respond vocally.

They just stare at him and give him a thumbs down. No explanation is offered to the poor man. None! There is only silence and a thumbs down with a slightly condescending feel to it.
Was this person trying to impress them? If so, they did a horrific job. Vi didn’t feel impressed in the slightest. Actually, they felt slightly homicidal now. Yeah, it was that bad. But murder was still pretty illegal, so they settled for glowering at the stranger and shoving the person aside. They were lucky that Vi had decided to wear gloves that day.

Silence. Not a sound was made as Vi stared down the person sitting across from them with such an intensity that-- even with their mask on --one could tell the Horseman had foul intentions. As time passed, they moved not even an inch. They only stared. No words, no movement, nothing.
