And WHAT if Yuusaku wants approval/affection/familial bonding from Ogata because he looks like their dad, huh?

Ogata is objectively not self aware enough to realize it, but WHAT IF his dislike of Yuusaku is partially derived from the fact that Yuu treats him like Tome did? As a stand in for the affection and love they didn’t receive from Koujirou???? What if Yuusaku is just trying to soothe the cognitive dissonance of Ogata not thinking like dad with the ‘everyone feels guilt’ thing???

What if it’s not just that Yuusaku threatens his worldview or that Ogata wants to see if his dad would love him in Yuusaku’s place. What if it’s also another mercy kill??
