I feel like my sexuality really isn’t acknowledged and is just brushed off because I don’t have a history of dating people of the same sex and haven’t had sexual relations with someone of the same sex. It feels invalidating and I feel left out and left behind.

It’s funny that I wanted to be a counselor for younger people because I could relate and maybe be of help to them but now I’m the one who needs counseling and therapy. Funny how that shit comes full circle.
