Am I the only one who actually thinks Shane would be a lot more likely to understand Troy once he knows the full story? Partly because of his experience with Ilya?

I’m asking because I’m not(I totally am) writing a fic where the climax happens to be Shane blowing up at Troy, but not because of anything Troy specifically did. I picked him because I couldn’t see Shane seeing anyone else at the Cens as safe enough to finally snap at.

I need this to be the turning point that lets Shane know he can let his guard down with his new team after the fiasco in Montreal, because he was left with a LOT of scars thanks to them. And I think it’s just as likely that Shawn would hear Troy’s story and think “There but for the grace of God go I”.

Anyway. Let them be friends!

I noticed something in this post that simply aggravated me. I’ll give you a minute to guess. Okay, time's up!

So, I’m from a certain generation, and I’ve got a bone to pick because apparently, I’m now being indirectly called old. I mean, the other week it was “goat”. I thought, “cool, I'm a seemingly wise creature!” Nope, apparently, I’m just "the greatest of all time", which I find most boring, to be honest. The next day? “Demure”. What the hell is that? A new high fashion brand? Now? WHAT ON EARTH IS "META"?

Nobody has the time to Google every new neologism that pops up like ads on a YouTube video. My brain’s buffering like it's stuck on dial-up! I think I speak for every Millennial and early Gen Z, enough puh-lease.

To the author of this post, don't mind this apparently old woman rant. I'm right there with you crying through each ep of Hidamari ga Kikoeru. We should make a community fund to buy tissues at this point!

LOL, I’m actually a mid-Millenial, and all I meant was that “cutting onions” is often used as Internet speak to mean “I’m crying and I need a plausible cover story”. Like “Someone’s cutting onions in here!” or “It’s raining. On my face.” So to see Kohei actually cutting onions and using that as his cover for tears feels like the writers are shouting that out!

Just finished my fall down the manga rabbit hole for IHTS and this is just solidifying my desire for two more seasons of the show! All the actors would kill it! I NEED to see some very specific scenes and drown myself in my own tears!
