A Masjid is the house of every believer.
The Prophet, Saheeh al-Jaami (6702)
Hard work causes stress, poor health and early death – above all, it has never solved poverty. We work longer hours now than we’ve done for fifty years, yet the gap between the rich and poor has never been wider. Working hard cannot solve an economic crisis. The fact we are all expected to work so hard is in fact a result of economic crisis: a crisis that did not appear in 2008, but has been with us far longer. This is the crisis at the heart of capitalism: a tension between the 1 percent who control the economy, and want to continually increase their wealth, and the rest of us, who are expected to work ever harder, in order to generate profit and to keep us from occupying our time in meaningful ways like questioning or challenging the status quo.

In Mali, West Africa, lives a tribe of people called the Dogon. The Dogon are believed to be of Egyptian decent and their astronomical lore goes back thousands of years to 3200 BC. According to their traditions, the star Sirius has a companion star which is invisible to the human eye. This companion star has a 50 year elliptical orbit around the visible Sirius and is extremely heavy. It also rotates on its axis.

How many foreigners are there really in your country?
In many European countries, political parties are using fear of foreigners to gain votes.
The number of foreigners residing in various European countries are often a topic of intense debate, for example in the UK where UKIP have argued that too many foreigners have been let into the country - both from other EU-countries and other nations.
However, if you look at the map here, made by Eurostat, the actual numbers of foreigners in the UK are not that different from other Western European countries - and actually somewhat lower than many of its neighbours.
For the purposes of this infographic “Foreign citizens refer to persons who are not citizens of the country in which they reside. They also include stateless persons.”

The Power of The Mind by The Hon Elijah Muhammad
That’s right, you can create the image that is in you, that is in your mind once you can conceive out the image of it, of what you want. Then you can bring it into being. But that which you just can’t create in your mind is something you can’t do. Now that yet does not mean that it (that which you have not yet conceived of) is not coming in. It may come in your son’s mind or your son’s son’s mind, that same thing which you were trying to get a hold of, it will come up in somebody else, that is if it is necessary, if it is good. It’s like our Saviour. The people had been wanting someone to conquer this devil for a long time, so it kept on going from one to another then finally His (Allah’s) father produced the thing that was necessary. That is a son that would be wise enough to destroy the devil. He was lucky to have been the father. Wherever there is a need for something it will be produced.Just like the devil wanted to learn how to fly. He kept trying some contraptions until he learned how to get up there in something heavier than air and went on to make the air his servant. It was the same I thing when he was on the other side of the ocean. He kept on looking over the vast ocean and couldn’t see any end to it. He wanted to see where the sun was going down on the other side of it, so he kept on until he mastered the waves and the storms until he got over here.
