I’m African so everyone on my mom’s side (from Ivory Coast) is like onyx black but my dad is lighter (Senegal) so I’m somewhere in the middle but I soooo wish I were darker like I’m spending 90% of my summer outdoors to get to my moms level of dark bc it’s just so beautiful!!

yees !!! i love my skin after summer vacation because it turns way darker and i love it so much but my skin tone is mixed so i can’t ever be that dark :((

Sometimes I feel like the only black girl in my school who wishes they had darker skin. I love how glowing and beautiful it looks. But I just think it’s me 💁🏽‍♀️ I don't know.

omgggg SAME. I love my skin tone but sometimes I also wish it’d be darker. It is extremely beautiful and it’s such a shame to see so many people want lighter skin tones when dark skin tones *and all of them really* are so beautiful.
