He seems genuinely upset by seeing the Halo of the Sun in Heather's house and I wonder if it's related to him being branded:

looking at car keys like he's never seen them before in his life (a distinct possibility)

(this frame is just really funny to me, idk why, there's just a lot going on)

I do like his little quiet moment as he decides to sacrifice himself so Heather can make it to the Sanctuary (makes me really wish they'd left in the part where he's processing Claudia's death but WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS)

This is the closest we got to him reacting to Claudia's death but it's still good. I feel so bad for him
